After getting her medication, the two of them went to a cafe where the two of them sat away from the public eye. Rose didn't question it and just went with it as she sat across from Kai. Once they both had their food Kai leaned against the table looking directly at her. "Since this is the first time you've been out of that house-I'd like to ask you a few questions about how you were raised. Is that alright Rose?"

Rose nodded her head with a smile. "Of course, I know my life is pretty much a mystery to you."

"Very well then, I want to first ask you about your childhood."

"What about my childhood Kai?"

"Had your parents ever done anything with you during your childhood?"

Rose shook her head with a sigh. "I was forced to keep to the library and read up on every book that I could on a specific subject which then I'd be tested on afterwards. Once I graduated high school at the age of twelve that changed to me learning how to do what my father is known for building up my strength and so on. I had been doing lessons for that type of stuff from the age of twelve until I was eighteen, which was when I was married off to the fucktard that my mother forced me to be around."

"What was your father's thoughts about that male being around you?"

"He refused to acknowledge the male as my husband, my father didn't like how Toya would treat me and talk down to me as if I was stupid when I'm obviously not. My father would continue to talk to me in private about how badly he wanted to kill Toya but didn't want to piss my mother off."

Kai raised an eyebrow at her. "So that marriage wasn't even blessed by your father? So how did it even happen?"

"It was all legally done, I was forced to sign a wedding contract with the asshole on the night of my eighteenth birthday which was when he had been introduced to me along with his family. That night my father was gone on a work trip, so he wasn't there to stop it from doing. When he came home to find me wed off to someone he didn't like he and my mother fought a lot."

Kai was quiet for a bit as he was in thought, Rose saw this and tilted her head to the side. "Kai...are you okay?"

"I'm just in thought here, I'm trying to figure out what is the thought process with your mother. Why would she do so much just to kill you, what purpose would she have to do something like that to her only child?"

"I'm not her only child, but I am her only child with Aizawa Shouta." She said shaking her head

Kai's golden eyes widened hearing what Rose said as he sat up straight. "So she cheated on your father with someone else?"

"Two people actually, I have three other half siblings. Two female and one male. I only know them by name though." Rose said with a sigh

"May I inquire their names?"

"Sure the eldest of the lot is Asa Anya. Then there is a set of twins Anno Hikaru and Haruka."

Kai furrowed his eyebrows a bit before he sat back in his seat, Rose looked rather concerned seeing just how Kai had reacted to the names she had spoken about. "Kai?"

"I don't mean to worry you Rose, I'm trying to piece together all that's going on right now. I truly don't understand just what's going on. I must be honest with you, it has been placed out who killed your father. The bastards name is Asa Yuji-which if it's the same male who had slept with your mother. It would make sense to kill who was keeping her back so she'd be able to take care of Anya and the other two instead of being around your father and you. The only reason she'd stay around would be because of your father. She obviously doesn't care that much about you if she had you be around someone like Todoroki Toya." Kai said in thought

Rose had eaten her food while hearing Kai speak, she dropped her fork as she heard him speak, It did make sense which made her frown. Rose placed her hands together as she furrowed her eyebrows a bit. "I...I think I need to figure out just what is going on with my family. My mother shouldn't have just ran off like that when my father had died protecting her. And if what you're saying is true-why would that dickless bastard pose to be one of your people Kai?"

"We're a rather large group of people, not everyone in the group is well known. But there is a was to tell who is a part of the group and who isn't."

Rose's eyes lit up. "The tattoo you have on you?!"

Kai nodded his head as he placed his hand where his tattoo was. "It is the only thing that keeps us from other groups. Which once we're married you'll be getting the same mark upon you as well. I hope you realize the marriage between us isn't just going to be for the stupid debt between your father and the gang I run with boss. I have too many emotions connected to you and having to get so intimately close to you I could never just toss you to the side like that." Kai said shaking his head as he spoke about the debt

Rose was silent for a moment before she let out a sigh. "I need to warn you once I'm pregnant it will be the only time I can eat food regularly. I had been pregnant with that assholes child once upon a time but I lost it due to stress and his abuse. He hated how fat I was turning and wanted to kill me and the child. He was only able to kill one of us." She said sadly

Kai felt uncomfortable hearing what he had from her. "You'll never have to worry about that with me, I'm refusing to treat you anything less than how I'd want you to treat me. If I am to keep what trust you have in me, I'd like for you to give me the same respect I give you."

"I can do that not a problem. So...what will happen after this?"

"I'm taking you to talk to boss, after that it'll be up to you what we do. After what has happened I'm not letting you go anywhere without my supervision."

"that's fair...I wouldn't trust me either after what I did. Do you at least have that knife? It's the last thing I have of my father."

Kai nodded his head. "I was able to get it from the hospital while you were out cold. But I've hidden it until you truly need it."

"If I am to talk with that old ass fart you call 'boss' I'm going to need it to prove a point, I won't use it on myself and afterwards if needs be you can take it from me. But I refuse to talk to that asshole without a means of defending myself." Rose said with her arms crossed

He let out a sigh and took it out of his back pocket, he then slid it across the table. "I will let you keep this until the moment I see that blade get close to your body. Then it's being taken from you once more. I'm not seeing you be close to death like that again, I don't think I could take it."

Rose placed her hand over his before she gave him a sad smile. "I never meant for things to get how they had. But that's what happens when I don't get my medication Kai."

"I am aware of that, I won't hold it against you for what had happened. I just ask that you keep track of when you take your medicine and when you don't."

She nodded her head, "I can do that not a problem."

Kai then laced his gloved hand with her hand over the knife. "I want you to stay the way you are now, I like being able to seeing you like this instead of on the verge of crying wanting nothing to do with anything or anyone." He said before he pulled her hand close to his lips and he kissed the top of her hand softly. "You are precious to me and I'd like for you to truly understand that."

Rose looked at him flustered as her face began to turn red at the cheeks "I...I don't know what to say to that...N...No one has ever said something like that to me before."

"Good, I'm glad to hear that I'm the first. You will always be precious to me, now finish eating. Once you're done we'll leave and talk with boss."

She quickly nodded her head as he let go of her hand, Rose placed her knife in her boot before she finished eating her sweet treat
