When Kai had taken them home, they both went to bed. Kai's room was near hers so he knew if something would happen to her-but at the same time...he didn't like not having her close to him after all that had happened. He let out a sigh as he had half a thought to see Rose in her room, which was just what he had done. When he got to her room she wasn't asleep, she was hugging herself as she was looking out the window. "Rose, I'm surprised you aren't asleep."

"I can't...My body won't let me for many reasons."

Kai raised an eyebrow at her. "What do you mean by that?"
