When Rose went to clean herself up she took off the bloody shirt, she then washed her hands rather thoroughly just to make sure that her mothers blood wouldn't seep into her skin. As she finished with washing her hands Kai had came into the bathroom only to avert his eyes seeing that she wasn't wearing a shirt. 

"I apologize Rose, I didn't know you were indecent. I believe you should talk to boss."

"And why should I talk to that old coot for?" Rose asked curiously as she dried her hands off before she placed on a new shirt

"I had to give him real proof that you are not an emotional woman, that you don't cry over split blood. He believed you to be a wuss of a woman, which was why he looked down upon you. But before I got you to see your mother I had set up a camera for him to see you take care of your mother. Seeing what you had done and hearing what you had said to your mother made him have second thoughts about how he looked at you Rose."

"I see...I was wondering why you didn't stop me. You wanted me to kill her didn't you?"

"Of course I did, I wanted boss to see the you that I saw when you killed Yuji is that so bad?"

Rose shook her head as she walked up to Kai. "I see, well it isn't a bad thing. Just I would have been a lot more violent had I known I was showing that bastard what I could do...I was holding back a lot around that piece of shit woman."

Kai let out a small chuckle. "I could have figured that much Rose, but you should at least hear him out before you completely ignore his existence."

"As long as you are within my eye sight I will do so."

"I will work with that."

The two of them went down to the cellar where Kai stopped at the break between cells before his own as Rose leaned against the wall across from where he was being held. "I was told by chisaki that you wanted to speak to me. What the fuck do you want you old ass coot?"

"I understand your distaste for me, I know you hate me and with good reason. I went against an agreement that I had the short end of the stick for. I never should have treated you so badly."

"No shit, get to the point. I have better shit to do than to have PTSD from being down here with an asshole like you." Rose said with her arms crossed

"I wish for forgiveness from you."

"Hard pass not going to happen. For months I was left down here without proper food and medication. If I can survive down here for a few months so can you asshole." She said before she walked off back towards Kai as they heard him begging to be let go

But neither one of them listened to the words being spoken, once they got top side Kai cupped her face in his gloved hand. "You will fit in well here, I'm glad to have met up with you Rose."

She gave him a half smile. "Thanks Kai, I'll take the compliment. Mind if I rest a bit?"

"Go on, you did enough for the day."

"Thank you."

She then went to a room that was done up for her, as she rested she could hear Kai talking with a few people about protecting her while she slept from inside the manor and by her window. Rose smiled hearing just how protective Kai truly was of her, it made her happy knowing that at least someone loved and cared for her that was alive. It wasn't long before Rose had fallen asleep knowing that she was protected and loved. When she woke up she saw that it was because Kai had woken her up. "Hm? Kai?"

"It is getting rather dark out, you haven't eaten dinner yet. So I'd like to take you out for the night. I want to show you the life that you'll have once you and I are married." He said as he held his hand out to her

Rose was happy to hear that he was trying to bond with her, so she placed her hand in his before the two of them left out after she placed her shoes on.
