It had been over three months since Rose was locked up in the cellar, Kai came down on her birthday to wish her a happy birthday and snuck her down a small strawberry cake which made her slightly happy despite her accommodations. She couldn't take her medication so she was always shaking and jittery as well as breaking down sobbing while she scratched at her legs and thighs-wanting it all to just stop. She never asked to be born. Her chest and stomach all hurt and she knew damn well that she was running low on sweets to eat. Even with Kai sneaking her down food to eat-it wasn't enough for her.  

As it came to be month seven of her being in the cellar Boss came to see her only to see her with her knife in hand as she was about to stab herself in the chest. He was quick to unlock the cellar door only for her to look straight at him as she stabbed herself in the chest. As she fell to the side with blood seeping out of her chest he had two of the males who had came down with him to call someone to get her out of the cell. 

Boss didn't know why someone with Aizawa blood would do something like want to kill her, he knew that Aizawa wasn't suicidal so why was his daughter that way? Then it hit him...her mother. Kai had asked him about her mother and he didn't think that her mother mattered, but obviously it did. Boss knew nothing about the woman that Aizawa Shouta chose to marry, it made him wonder if all of the things that were wrong with her came from her mother and not her father.

It was ten minutes before paramedics came into the cell to take her out of it as they had pulled the knife out of her just to see that she didn't get close to her heart so she was able to be saved. While two of the paramedics took Rose out, one of them stayed behind to get information about what caused the young woman to try to kill herself-boss didn't have the answers that the paramedic needed, unlike Kai who was more than happy to give the paramedic the information that they needed.

"The woman's name is Santos Rose, she is twenty eight years old. Her birthday is the six of may. She takes three different medications two which are for her emotions. An anxiety reducer and an anti-depressant. The only other one she takes is an acid reflux reducer. She hasn't been able to eat her usual diet because of the restrictions my adopted father has had for her. She's been starving for a while, she probably had enough of being captive in a place where no one spoke with her and treated her like crap." Kai said seriously

"Alright, thank you sir."

"Of course."

Once the paramedic left, Kai narrowed his eyes at boss. "If Rose dies it's on you for treating her like fucking shit! You don't know her! You have no knowledge of what she can and can't do! Let alone what type of life she lived before I took her from that place she lived in! The fact that you said we can't trust her shows just how much people can't trust you! I'm going to make damn sure that woman lives another day, depending on what happens at the hospital depends on whether I'm keeping Rose out of that damn cell or coming after you for what you've done to that woman!" Kai said angered before he left out

Boss had no idea that Kai felt so passionate about the poor woman, but couldn't say anything about it so he left it be as he went up the stairs to figure out just how to get information on Santos Donna. When Kai had gotten to the hospital, he had asked about Santos Rose only to be told that she had lost a lot of blood but was in a stable condition. He let out a sigh of relief and asked to see her, which he was given the room she was in. He went to the room only to see that she was out cold lying in a bed with a heart monitor which was the only indication that she was even alive. 

Kai stayed in the room with her the entire time she was out cold, he went to her left hand and picked it up before he placed a ring on her ring finger. "After all of this is said and done for we're getting married. I'm done waiting for boss to make up his mind about what to do about you Rose."

He then sat down near her as he held her hand close to his face. "I'm sorry this has happened to you, I tried to do all that I could to get you out of that damn cell...But I guess even I couldn't do enough. You didn't deserve this type of fate Rose, I will be making sure something happens to boss for what he's done. Doing what he had went against the contract that was signed by him and your parents. There's no way he's getting out of this unscathed, I'll do whatever it takes to get you to wake up Rose...just please...don't leave me here alone."

Rose's mind was dark as she felt like she was floating and falling at the same time. The dark thoughts around her kept her swimming downwards as she kept hearing the harsh dark words of her mother and ex-husband repeating in her mind bashing her, ridiculing her for being herself. 

She wasn't smart, beautiful, sweet, kind or caring-to them she was worthless, useless-A being without a purpose. What seemed like a long time she saw a small light that was calling to her. 

'You are enough. You are my daughter. You are the most amazing thing that has ever happened in my life. Those who bring you down are jealous of what you have become. Don't listen to them, listen to your heart-to the man who sits beside you while you recover.'

Hearing the sound of her father's voice-it confused her, what man? Just who was he talking about?

As if to hear her unspoken questions, she soon was able to feel someone holding her hand, but the hands were clothed. She could tell by the size of the hand that it was a male who was holding her hand within theirs. She soon heard them speak in a rather sad and regretful tone.

"Rose, it's been three weeks now since you were placed here in the hospital. The doctors are slowly losing hope that you'll wake up. They said that your mind is to far deep into itself and that itself would keep you from living. That you aren't going to wake up because of all of the traumatic things that have happened to you that were left uncared for. I want to be there for you...Over the last seven months, coming to that cell to speak with you. To see just how far down into despair boss made you be...I couldn't take it. I wanted to get you out of there. He refused, had you not attempted to kill yourself, he would have done it instead. I need you to wake up Rose...I need to know that the woman I fell in love with is still alive. I can take care of boss, but I want you to be alive and well so you can see just what I can do just to be sure you're never harmed ever again."

Hearing his voice made her heart swell up, she never knew just how passionate Kai was about her. It made her realize that all the times he had lingered to look at her it was because he had cared for her. He loved her...something she had never felt before outside of being around her dearest departed father. Rose wanted to be the reason Kai continued his life, even if it meant leaning whole heartedly against the elder male. It was better than staying in some stupid ass cell that's for sure. Rose found herself going towards the sound of Kai's voice only to hear the heart monitor beeping loudly as she opened her eyes as Kai was about to leave.

His eyes were still on her when he froze seeing her eyes open. "R-Rose?! You woke up...Finally." he said before he bent down to hug her tightly "It's good to see your beautiful eyes once more Rose."

Rose teared up hearing him speak, she pulled the air mask away from her body before she spoke to him. "If you wish to get back at that bastard allow me to be the one to do something about it. I'm not an Aizawa by blood for nothing."

Kai chuckled a bit with a smile "That is rather fair. I'm going to get the doctor. Hopefully we'll see each other sooner than later."

Rose nodded her head. "Mhm...oh and Kai?"

Kai stopped as he got to the door, he raised an eyebrow as he looked back at her. "Yes Rose?"

"I love you too, have been since I first saw you. While you were knocked out...well I realized just how rather attractive you looked, then while you spoke it made me realize just how much of a gentleman you are. You've been nothing but sweet to me, so I'm more than happy to be yours if that's what you wish."

Kai turned himself fully to look at her. "Look at your left hand Rose."

Rose looked at her hand and her eyes widened. "When the hell?"

"The first day of you being out cold...I placed that on you. I wasn't going to give you a choice in the matter but to be with me. But hearing that you're going to willingly be with me because of your own attraction towards me, well it makes me happy to know that this isn't going to be one sided. Be good for the doctor and hopefully we'll see each other."

Rose nodded her head with a smile before he left out.
