It's been two months, my life with Abi is totally blissful. I could have asked for anything more than this contented life but I know this life is going to come with a price. I have been meeting Abhi once or twice in a week and we stay together.
Usually I go back home once in two months so as usual I went home. Abhi left yesterday and I will be leaving today. It's just that I never heard anything from Akila, I feel something fishy about it but I let it go thinking of her silliness..
I reached back home and I know well that my mother is going to say something about getting married again. As soon as my mother was about to say something I interrupted her.
" let me take some rest Amma, then you begin " I said and sprinted to my room. It was nearly three by evening when I woke up from my slumber. I was having my dinner when my mother started speaking.
" Do you remember Akila your ex-wife's sister. Seems like this time she has got into a scandal. I heard it from few people speaking in the market. Seems like her father locked her in home " she said without any emotion.
I left the food half way and drove my car to Abhi's house. I know their father can sometime get angry to the level that he can hit them too. I drove fast and reached their home. I went inside and see him slapping Akila.
" Akila " I called out. She came running and hugged me. She cried out in my arms.
" It's okay I'm here now , everything is going to fine " I consoled her.
" Why the hell are you here " her father roared at me.
" I can file complaint against you for domestic violence " I said back with equal anger. It's not only him who could get angry others also could and now I literally feel it in me.
" you have no rights to barge inside my house and say what I have to do with my daughters. If required I will hit them " he said arrogantly making my anger flare up.
" If your children is doing mistake then it's your responsibility to make them understand it and not hit them " I retorted back as Akila is still in my embrace.
" You don't have to teach me what I have to do with my kids. Akila come here right now " he said sternly. I tightened my hold around her to make her realize I'm with her.
" Abi... get both of your necessary things and come with me " I said sternly to Abi who had tears in her eyes watching everything.
" my daughters are not going anywhere with you " he shouted.
" Abi " I called her loudly making her move from her place. Soon she came out with few necessary things and walked towards me slowly with her head down.
" If you both get out of this house today then think that we both ate dead for you " he said in anger.
" I will be there for both of them " I said back and took them out of their house...
