Cody was having a peaceful afternoon. Obi-Wan was playing with Thanh in the living room while Cody prepared dinner. He put the meet in the oven and set timer for 20 minutes. Then he opened one of his notebooks and devoted himself to studying literature before he had to continue with cooking.

Then the bell rang.

"Fox? What exactly are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to Thanh."

"What do you want from him?"

"You will hear that in a moment."

"What do you want from him?"

"Just let me talk to him, I have better things to do than argue on your doorstep."

"Fox. What do you want from my son?"

"A testimony."

"For what?!"

Fox sighed. "You remember when I was here for dinner with Riyo?"

"Yes and if I remember correctly, you learned my son a beautiful new word. If I remember correctly, the word was 'decapitated'."

"Ah, yeah, sorry for that. Anyway, Thanh told me he was worried about some kid at school. I'm investigating it now."

"Come in."

Thahn looked up curiously when he heard someone entering the room. And there he saw no one else than ba'vodu Fox. "Fox! Did you save CT-6419?"

"I'm working on it."

"So I was right and someone hurt him?"

"I haven't found any evidence of that yet."

"Oh..." Was Thanh wrong for the whole time? He was so sure!

"But I'm pretty sure something is not right. The kid won't talk to me. So I have a very important task for you, Thanh. I will tell you what I need to know and you will try to ask him."

"Okay."

CT-6419 just ended his math class and was collecting his stuff. He joined the crowd of students going to the playground to eat their lunch. He wasn't really planning on eating his lunch, he only had a ration bar. He would get some nat-born food in the evening.

"Hi," another clone sat on the bench next to him. CT-6419 looked at him. It was the defective clone he was passing in the hallways sometimes. "You don't have lunch?"

CT-6419 shrugged.

"Do you want some of mine?" the other clone shoved a lunch box with cookies and bite-size pieces of some fruit foreign to CT-6419.

CT-6419 considered his options and then helped himself to a cookie. "Thanks."

"No problem. By the way, I'm Thanh."

"I'm CT-6419."

"You don't have a name?" the other clone asked, surprised.
