Valerie

I'm late for work.

I quickly put my hair up in a bun, grab my phone and run out of my apartment building.

Great.

Stairs or the elevator? Do I even need to choose?

I turn towards the elevator, letting out a deep sigh as I stood in the middle of the elevator waiting to hear that ding noise.

A few moments later, I am now on the run to work.

But ofcourse, my day does not go my way.

I bump into what seems like a hard brick wall.

A grumble leaves my lips but once I looked up, I notice it was my to-be favourite customer.

Lucas! I automatically smile.

His cologne makes him smell like he is fresh out of the shower. Am I being weird? I don't think so.

He smells so good. I just want to get closer to him.

I snap back into reality.

I rub my forehead and take a step back, since Lucas is just standing there like a robot..

"I knew we would meet again!" I exclaim with my usual cheery smile. "Do you remember me? At the flower shop?"

"How could i forget?

I scan his whole body, clearing checking him out. "Why are you wearing a suit?" I curiously ask.

"I don't see how that's any of your buis—"

"Oh no- im late for work! Drop by sometime, i need some entertainment." I interrupt him.

As i'm running towards the flower shop, i look down at the time on my phone.

I'm 10 minutes late?!

I stood in front of the flower shop. Dumbfounded.

"My keys. Where are my keys?"

I keep mumbling to myself as I check every pocket at least 10 times.

It probably fell out of my pocket when I bumped into that stupid guy.

I start to retrace every single one of my steps, contemplating whether to just call out Lucas's name hoping he has my keys, which would be extremely impossible.

"Lucas! Sanchez!! Mr Sanchez!"

Why do I remember his full name? He probably already forgot my name.

A groan leaves my lips as there is no key in sight.

Boss is going to kill me..

But obviously, a girl like me does not give up so easily.

"Lucas-! Lucas Sanch—"
