Valerie

I was in the process of spraying glitter all over my birthday dress. The dress was in a soft satin material, with a large slit going all the way up to my thigh. The dress shined as I walked underneath a light to see how I would look.

It was a tight-fitting dress that goes all the way down to my toes, the dress is a black colour. Originally I wanted to get a dark red coloured dress but I ended up getting plain black. But I can't complain.

The dress did look amazing.

I put on gold earrings along with a golden necklace.

I began to spray on my favourite perfume of all time.

Good girl, Carolina Herrera. The absolute best.

Until my thoughts get interrupted by the knocking sound on my door.

Was it Lucas?

I make my way towards the door unlocking it. His cologne invades me, since when did he smell this good?

"Yves Saint Laurent." Lucas stated, maintaining a poker face.

My head tilted slightly "that's your cologne? How did you know I was going to-"

"You were sniffing me, like a mad person."

Embarrassment flooded me as I realised how weird I would have looked. "My bad.." I mumble.

I look back up at him, my cheeks turning a shade of pink.

Lucas was wearing a black suit that hugged his masculine physique perfectly, accentuating his toned arms and lean waist. The material looked like high-quality silk, my eyes slowly trailed down to his groin..

"My eyes are up here." He spoke up.

I quickly look back up into his grey eyes, "right. Right. So- where are you taking me?"

"To a restaurant." Lucas holds out his hand for me to take, I hold onto his hand and he leads me to his car.

Personally, I think a man's car, can represent them in some way. Just like the way Lucas's car is black, and he is always wearing black.

He holds open the car door for me and closes it after I sit in the passenger seat. What a gentleman.

Lucas gets into the drivers seat, "do your seatbelt." He starts the car.

I immediately do as he says and pull the seatbelt across my body and click the buckle into place.

We soon arrived at the restaurant.

It was a modern, sleek looking building with dim lights, even a grand piano near a stage. The restaurant was lit up with candles and had roses placed on tables. There was a long counter to order food and a spacious seating area, there seemed to be a VIP area?

How rich is this restaurant?

"How come I've never heard of this place?" I ask Lucas, his hand in mine.
