About 20 minutes earlier
"Shinichiro, I'm okay from now on, guard this door for me okay?" I said to Shinichiro as he nods and I ran inside the hallways searching for that room.
"Fuck!...I atleast need to find it before they get backup..." I mutter to myself as I search for the room said by the informant.
That's right, after I killed that informant, I immediately began preparing a plan. Shin kept pestering me about that and I gave in.
The plan is to raid one of the buildings Kurohi uses for money laundering. Apparently, it's one of their first successful business. It's a luxury restaurant.
Kurohi had his old office in there. Which was sealed away and sometimes he visits the place too. After he went missing however, that office was used by that informant. I dont know what significance he had that Kurohi gave him such a risky office...but in my eyes, Kurohi wanted me to find that office. And he added a bit of challenge in it.
He knew that the informant would never rat him out...unless it was clear that he was gonna die. Even with that it was a 50/50 chance of him snitching.
He wants to see how far I'd go. How many lifes I'd take to get to him. How much conscience I have left. So am I walking right into his trap?
I'd like to do the movie shit too, where the hero forgives the lackey and they side with the hero.
Redemption?
Salvation?
Those are just mere facades or an artistic imagination. Atleast, in this field.
They don't change. No, sometimes they do. But even the people who want to change, get in the good light, they know what the risks are.
Continue being a villain or redemption. For people like them...us, its a fail-fail situation anyway.
Thats why we'd rot. And just believe in the fantasy that what we're doing is right. Thats right. Everybody wants to be the hero in their own story. If not, everyone wants to be justified.

And as i spare a glance at their fallen down bloody body, I can already see a future in which that is me.
People who has killed should expect themselves to be killed too. No position to argue back or regret.
