Steve was taken aback by the sudden kiss and September's hasty rush outside as he watched as the other boy excitedly made his way to the pool, a mix of surprise and confusion on Steve's face.

For a moment, he stood there dumbfounded, frozen in place, his heart racing from the unexpected affection. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself, his cheeks turning a subtle shade of pink.

"Well, that.. definitely wasn't what I expected" he murmured under his breath, a small smile playing on his lips as he followed after September.

As he approached the pool area, "Hey, don't think you can just leave me hanging like that! What was that kiss about?" he playfully called out, his tone carrying a mix of curiosity and a touch of flattery.

Steve couldn't help the way his heart skipped a beat as he spoke, his mind still trying to process the sudden display of affection while September looked at Steve confused for a second.

Steve noticed the look of confusion on September's face and raised his eyebrow slightly, his smile widening. "What's that look for? You're the one who kissed me, remember?" he teased, his tone a playful mix of mock offense and lightheartedness.

"Did you forget your own antics already?" Steve asked after a silent few minutes, a hint of amusement in his voice as he pretended to cross his arms in a playful huff.

"My mother told me to kiss who I like.. foreheads for friends, lips for boyfriends or girlfriends and the cheek for family" September admits softly making Steve's expression softened as he listened to September's explanation, his teasing tone shifting to a more understanding and affectionate one.

Steve nodded slightly, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips, "Ah, I see. Your mother taught you some kissing etiquette, huh? Forehead kisses for friends, lips for dates, and cheeks for family, right?" he repeated, a hint of warmth in his voice.

"Yeah" September answered simply making Steve smile gently back at him, his eyes filled with understanding and a hint of affection. "Well, then I must say, I feel honored that you've deemed me worthy of a forehead kiss" he replied, a small chuckle escaping his lips.

"And who knows what the future holds, right? Maybe someday one of those lip kisses will come my way" Steve added, his tone carrying a mix of teasing and sincerity which September raised an eyebrow and blushed at.

Steve couldn't help but grin at the sight of September's blushing cheeks, his heart fluttering slightly at the sight.

"Ah, look at you, all flustered" he remarked softly, a hint of playful amusement in his voice before he added, "Don't tell me a little bit of teasing about future kisses is all it took to make you blush like that. Are you sure you know what you're getting into, September?" he asked, his tone teasing yet affectionate.

"I have no fucking clue" September stated in a matter of fact making Steve chuckle at the straightforward admission, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"You're refreshingly honest, you know that?" Steve remarked, a touch of admiration in his voice, "Not many people come right out and admit they don't have a clue. But don't worry, sometimes it's more fun that way - taking things as they come, not knowing where the journey will lead" he added, his tone carrying a hint of optimism.

"I've never been kissed before" September admitted with a small smile making Steve's heart skipped a beat at the confession, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of surprise and warmth.

"Really? Never?" he repeated almost incredulously, his voice filled with a touch of awe, he smiled gently at the other boy, his expression softening, "Well, there's no rush, you know? You'll experience that when the time is right for you" he reassured, his tone sincere.

"But with the way you're stealing my pool, I might just have to give you some lessons" he teased, a small smirk forming on his lips.

"You'd teach me your 'kissing etiquette'?" September asked in confusion as his nose scrunched slightly making Steve chuckle, his eyes glinting with mischief.

"Well, I certainly wouldn't mind giving you some tips and tricks" he added playfully before adding, "Consider me your personal 'Kiss-Coach' and I'll guide you through the ropes" he teased, raising his hand as if making an oath.
