Adam was already at the meeting with Sera, and at this point they were just waiting for Lute. This has never happen before, since she is always there on time.

Meanwhile with Lute, she had a wing above her head as she scurried across the roads of heaven. it was to dangerous to fly in this weather, and that really affected the time she would arrive. She was shivering, already soaked from thee horrid weather. The wing helped a little, but it still got to her. Her mascara was falling down her face, all the make-up she had on washed away. Eventually, after five more minutes of walking, made it to the meeting location. She knocked a couple times before opening the door, to see both Sera and Adam looking at her.

"I am so sorry, sir and ma'am! It was to dangerous to fly so I had to walk but it takes a lot longer to walk and—" she was cut off by Sera holding a hand up, as if to silence her. Lute just looked down, to ashamed to look at anyone in the face.

"It's okay Lute, just don't let it happen again. Please sit down." Sera sighed after Lute had sat down next to Adam. Sera began the meeting, which happened to be about the exterminations. She was going on about how we need to train the newbies more. "The next extermination is just around the corner, so we need to.." Sera kept talking but Lute was zoned out at this point. This was very unlike her, sense she is always the one paying attention. But she couldn't help it, she was freezing. There was no way she could change or shower or do anything, so she just had to suck it up. She did not want to go back to her apartment right now in the rain. The meeting was only ten minutes, which pissed Lute off. She did all of that for ten minuets!? Adam was thinking the same thing, clearly a little upset that his right-hand woman tried so hard to get here just for Sera to leave after ten minutes of what seemed more like lecturing than an actual meeting. Sera grabbed her umbrella before walking out, and Lute was still shivering. Luckily, it was not as bad as before.

"Lute, are you okay? You have been shivering ever since you came here." Adam spoke up after a moment of silence, turning to look at her.

"I-I am f-fine, sir." Lute attempted to sound confident but ultimately failed when she started to stutter from the coldness she was experiencing.

"We live near each other, so why don't we just share my fucking umbrella?" Adam suggested, being smart instead of a jackass for once.

"I..I suppose we could," Lute responded, unsure of how legit her boss was being. Adam stood up and walked over to the door, where the umbrella was resting up against the wall nearby. Lute stood up to, rubbing her shoulders trying to generate heat. Adam chuckled a little bit before opening the umbrella and allowing Lute under it with him. Lute mumbled a quiet 'Thank You' as Adam started to rant about 'stupid' Charlie again. He still was not over the fact Charlie thought a demon could be redeemed, and Lute always agreed with him. Adam kept talking about this while Lute just smiled and went 'mm-hmm' a load of times. When they did eventually get to Lutes apartment, she thanked Adam again before scurring off to get in the shower then get a change of clothes. Adam wore a light smirk watching his assistant run for the shower. He then walked away towards his apartment, where he just slept the entire day.
