S1 FINALE SPOILER WARNING

Ever since Adam had died, everything just seemed bland to Lute. She was currently walking down the streets of Heaven, kids running around and parents laughing on a bench together. But she felt like it was all empty. Without Adam, everything was shades of grey. All the noises of happiness were blocked out, as Lute hung her head low staring at the floor beneath her. She half wished she were dead; the one thing she lived for was gone. Her only purpose now was to lead the exorcists. She sighed before picking up her pace a little bit, tears stinging her eyes. She couldn't cry now, not in front of all these angels! She was able to make it to an alleyway where she collapsed, her tears streaming down her face and ruining her makeup. Black streaks dashed along her delicate face, making her seem as if she was crying for hours instantly. She knew she was alone in this, so why was she so surprised about it? She also knew it was her fault. She knew it all to well. And now she will pay the consequences of it by forever being alone in the crowded nation of Heaven, thinking about the one who she loved dearly.
