: ̗̀➛  The moon hung high in the sky, casting eerie shadows through the empty hallways of Paper School. It was the third night since they got trapped here. The school had seemed normal during the day, but as soon as the sun set, everything changed.

Abbie huddled close to Lana, her eyes scanning the dimly lit corridors. "I don't like this, Lana. Not one bit. It's not right that we're stuck here."

Lana nodded, her hand trembling as she clutched her backpack. "I just want to go home. Why is this happening?"

Engel approached them, his usual calm demeanor faltering in the face of their predicament. "We need to stay together. Stick to the plan. We'll be okay."

The plan was simple. During the day, when the school seemed safe, they would gather supplies. But when night fell, they had to hide. Because at night, the teachers turned into monsters.

Bubble, her usually pristine appearance marred by the stress of their situation, joined them, her eyes darting nervously around the hallway. "We need to find a safe place. Miss Circle, Miss Thavel, and Miss Bloomie... they're dangerous. And Alice..."

Alice. Just the mention of her name sent shivers down their spines. She was worse than the teachers. Aggressive. Dangerous. And she was dating Oliver.

Speaking of Oliver, he and his usual entourage, Zip and Edward, were causing trouble as usual. Claire, trying to keep her cool, sighed and shook her head. "Can't they be serious for once? We're not playing a game."

Riley, her wild hair a perfect match for her chaotic demeanor, smirked. "Maybe they'll learn when Miss Circle gets her hands on them."

Ruby, the peacekeeper of the group, stepped forward. "Let's not talk about that. We need to focus on finding a safe place."

Suddenly, a noise echoed down the hallway, causing them all to freeze. It was Miss Circle. They could hear her footsteps, slow and deliberate, as she patrolled the corridors.

"We need to move," Engel whispered urgently. "Now."

They darted into a nearby classroom, holding their breath as Miss Circle passed by. After what felt like an eternity, the sound of her footsteps faded into the distance.

Once they were sure the coast was clear, they made their way to the cafeteria to gather supplies. They moved quickly, knowing that time was not on their side.

As they loaded their backpacks with food and water, Claire couldn't shake the feeling of unease. "What if we never get out of here?"

Engel placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We will. We just have to stick together and stay strong."

They made their way back to their hiding spot, the weight of their situation hanging heavy in the air. But despite the danger that lurked around every corner, they knew that as long as they had each other, they would make it through the night.

Little did they know, Alice was watching them, her eyes glinting in the darkness. And she had plans of her own.

As they settled into their hiding spot, the tension in the air was palpable. They knew they couldn't let their guard down, not even for a moment.

"I hate this," Lana whispered, her voice barely audible. "I just want to go home."

Abbie nodded in agreement, her eyes darting nervously around the room. "We all do, Lana. But we have to stay strong. We'll get through this."
