: ̗̀➛ Claire sat at her usual desk in the library, books and notes scattered around her. Despite her calm exterior, a wave of frustration was building inside her. No matter how hard she tried, the math problems in front of her remained a mystery. She let out a sigh, running a hand through her hair, when a familiar voice broke her concentration.

"Hey, Claire. Need some help?"

Claire looked up to see Y/N standing there with a friendly smile. They had always been kind to her, and she felt her anxiety ease a bit at their presence.

"Y/N, hey. Yeah, I could really use some help. I'm completely lost with these equations," Claire admitted, her cheeks flushing slightly.

Y/N pulled up a chair and sat down next to her. "No problem, let's take a look."

For the next hour, Y/N patiently explained each concept, breaking down the steps and making sure Claire understood before moving on. Claire found herself getting more comfortable, even smiling as she grasped the material.

"You really have a way of explaining things," Claire said, looking at Y/N with admiration. "I actually get it now."

Y/N chuckled. "I'm glad I could help. Math can be tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad."

Claire nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

They continued studying together, the atmosphere light and filled with quiet laughter. As the library began to empty out, Y/N noticed Claire starting to pack her things.

"Hey, do you want to grab a coffee or something? We could take a break," Y/N suggested.

Claire hesitated for a moment but then nodded. "Sure, that sounds nice."

They walked to a nearby café, the conversation flowing easily. Claire found herself opening up more than usual, talking about her studies, her friends, and even her anxieties about school. Y/N listened intently, offering support and understanding.

"You know, Claire," Y/N said after a while, "it's okay to feel anxious. Everyone does at some point. But you're really smart and hardworking. You've got this."

Claire looked at Y/N, her heart fluttering at their words. "Thank you, Y/N. That means a lot coming from you."

The evening wore on, and the two of them found themselves sitting closer, their hands brushing occasionally. The connection between them was undeniable, and Claire felt a warmth she hadn't experienced before.

As they walked back to campus, Claire turned to Y/N, a shy smile on her face. "I had a really nice time tonight. Thank you for everything."

Y/N smiled back, their eyes soft and caring. "Me too, Claire. Anytime you need help, with math or anything else, I'm here for you."

Claire's heart raced as she looked into Y/N's eyes. "Actually, there's something else I need help with," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"What's that?" Y/N asked, stepping closer.

Claire took a deep breath, her nervousness giving way to determination. "I've been trying to figure out how to tell you that I like you. A lot."

Y/N's eyes lit up with surprise and joy. "Claire, I like you too. I've wanted to tell you for a while now."

Relief washed over Claire as they both smiled, the moment feeling perfect. Without another word, Y/N gently took Claire's hand, and they continued walking, knowing that whatever challenges they faced, they would face them together.

As they walked back to campus, hand in hand, the air around them felt different, charged with the electricity of newfound feelings. Claire's heart raced, but it was a comforting rhythm, one that matched the steps she took beside Y/N.

The campus was quiet, the buildings silhouetted against the evening sky. They reached the dormitory steps and paused, neither wanting the night to end. Claire looked up at Y/N, her eyes reflecting a mixture of excitement and vulnerability.

"I've never felt this way before," Claire admitted softly. "It's a little scary, but also really nice."

Y/N squeezed her hand gently. "Me too. But I think it's a good kind of scary, don't you?"

Claire nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Definitely."

They stood there for a moment, the world around them fading as they focused on each other. Y/N leaned in slightly, their eyes asking a silent question. Claire's breath hitched, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she closed the gap between them, her lips meeting Y/N's in a tender kiss.

It was a sweet, gentle kiss, full of promise and the start of something beautiful. When they finally pulled apart, both of them were smiling, their hearts lighter than they had been in a long time.

"I guess we should head inside," Claire said, her voice still a little breathless.

"Yeah, but I'll walk you to your room," Y/N offered.

They entered the dormitory, their footsteps echoing softly in the hallways. When they reached Claire's door, she turned to Y/N, a playful glint in her eye.

"Thanks for the math help," she said with a grin. "And everything else."

"Anytime," Y/N replied, leaning in for one more quick kiss. "Sweet dreams, Claire."

"Goodnight, Y/N," Claire whispered, her heart soaring.

As she closed the door behind her, Claire leaned against it, a blissful sigh escaping her lips. For the first time in a long while, the anxiety she usually felt at Paper School seemed distant, replaced by the warmth of Y/N's affection and the promise of their blossoming relationship.

The next day, Claire couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation as she walked to class. She spotted Y/N waiting for her near the library, and her heart skipped a beat. They greeted each other with shy smiles and began their day together, side by side.

Their friends soon noticed the change. Engel, who had always been close to Claire, gave her a knowing look. "You seem happier, Claire," he remarked during a break between classes.

Claire blushed but didn't deny it. "I am. Things are just... better now."

As the days turned into weeks, Claire and Y/N's relationship grew stronger. They continued to help each other with studies, shared laughs over coffee, and confided in one another about their hopes and fears. Claire found that her anxiety lessened with Y/N by her side, their support providing her with the strength she needed.

One afternoon, as they sat together under a tree on campus, Y/N turned to Claire with a serious expression. "You know, Claire, I think you're incredible. The way you work so hard, and how you care so much about everything you do... It's inspiring."

Claire felt her cheeks heat up, but she met Y/N's gaze with sincerity. "And I think you're amazing, Y/N. You've made such a difference in my life. I can't imagine it without you now."

Y/N smiled and took Claire's hand. "Then let's keep making a difference for each other. Together."

Claire nodded, feeling a profound sense of happiness and contentment. "Together."

And so, Claire and Y/N continued their journey, facing the challenges of Paper School and life with a newfound confidence and love. They knew there would be obstacles ahead, but as long as they had each other, they were ready for anything.
