Her heart stopped.
Beat again.
Stopped.
Beat again.
Stopped.

The pressure was unbearable. The taste of iron omnipresent. The cold more friend than foe. Her pitiful attempt to breathe failed and the pressure intensified.

As if she were drowning in an ocean of pain and fear.
The vastness and depth of the sea was black and terrifying.
She could feel the spirits and curses reaching out their hands and claws towards her.
Powerless and desperate, she looked at the surface of the water and moved her arms.
Bumbling, she tried to swim and her breathing failed completely.
The pain in her chest became painful and numbing as she tried to breathe again and failed miserably.
Her skin turned cold and pale and her eyes clouded over.
It was not far now.
Her strength was almost gone, but she didn't give up. It wasn't far now.
She stretched her arms upwards and her fingertips broke through the surface of the water.
It wasn't far now.

'Jinji...'

Her vision blurred and her pain disappeared.
The pressure in her chest faded like a headache leaving.
Her thoughts revolved around Jinji and Sarja. About her first love, about Hawks and about Shota.
About the UA.
About her first day at the school gates.

She closed her eyes.

It was good the way it was.
