Eventually the office gets word that Amy and Alex are safe and Ms. Jonson and her boyfriend were arrested for kidnapping. Around 30 minutes later they get the word in come 2 officers with 2 car seats
"We're looking for Devin?"
"Right here" Carol says motioning for the officers to follow her. The officers bring the car seats into the room but Devy is far more amazed by one of the officers...
"Officer Jones?"
"Yes?" Officer Jones takes a good look at Devy and smiles
"Look at you kid, all grown up."
"You two know each other?" Kevin asks
"I met Devin when we were called to his house about a murder. Poor kid was locked in a closet"
"Wow"
"I can't believe I remember you"
"These are your little ones?"
"Yeah" Devy says smiling
"Well I'm honored to say I've rescued 2 generations of your family"
"Thank you so much Officer Jones" Devy says reaching out to shake his hand, the officer returns the handshake and says goodbye to Devy. Carol excuses herself so the boys can have some alone time first with the twins before bringing them home.
"Hi Amy~ Hi Alex~" Devy coos at the twins. Amy looking up at him and Alex cooing back.
"They're so cute" Kevin says
"They really are" Carol walks back in and gives Devy a folder
"These are some resources for new parents, I highly recommend you use them Devin.
"Of course, thank you Carol"
"It's my job" She says smiling warmly
"I do have to ask, do you both know how to... hold a baby?"
"Do you have a doll? I don't want to hold a live baby and be holding them wrong" Carol gives Devy a stuffed bear and he holds it the way he thinks a baby should be held
"Mostly correct, you need to constantly support their heads"
"Okay" Devy adjusts so the bears head is in the fold of his arm
"Like this?"
"Perfect" Kevin takes the bear and holds it correctly the first time. Carol shows the boys how to gently remove the babies from the car seats, how to put them back in and lastly... how to change them.
The 2 load the twins into the car and hop in the front seats, ready to finally head home and introduce the twins to their other 3 dads.
