"Kevin.." Devy says bringing both of his hands up to cup Kevin's face "Yes..?" "Will you be my boyfriend?" Kevin looks into the older boys eyes before saying "Give me a day to think of my answer please.." Devy feels a little sad by his response but doesn't let the sadness show.. he's really glad he's semi good at hiding his emotions. "Okay. Uhm I should really get going. Devy finishes getting his toys packed up and put away under his bed. He goes into his second bedroom and empties the drawers for Kyle's clothes, he cleans the floor and decides finally his apartment is ready. He checks the time 10:30 pm.. he's been working for 5 hours straight... Devy flops down on his bed and pulls up the Uber eats app. ordering some chick-fil-a. His phone rings and he picks up without looking at who's calling
"Hello?" "Hey Devy.." it's Kevin.. "Oh hey what's up?" "Can we talk..?" His phone dings and he looks to see a text from Austin that they're here "Uhm not right now Kevin I'm sorry... I'm really sor-" he gets cut off by Kevin hanging up. He quickly texts Austin he's on his way down and slips on his sandals and grabs his keys locking his door quickly. Stepping out of the elevator he immediately sees Kyle. He jogs over and greets the 2 "Hey guys" "Hey Devy" Austin says and Kyle just shyly waves. "Lemme show you guys my apartment first. Then we'll come back for Kyle's things?" "Yeah that sounds great. C'mon Ky" Austin says Kyle nods and follows the 2 inside. Devy shows them to his apartment and shows them where Kyle will be staying. 15 minutes and 1 bag of Chick-Fil-A later and Kyle's all settled in. The 3 are chilling on the couch just chatting about plans for the whole situation when there's a knock on Devy's door. "I'll grab it" Austin says and Devy nods. Austin walks over to the door opening it revealing a smaller fragile looking boy "Uhm hi?" The small boy looks puzzled "Do you need something?" "Is Devy here..?" He asks. "Why who are you to him?" "N-Nevermind... I'm sorry for bothering.." he turns to walk away when Austin grabs him by the wrist. "Who are you to Devy? Why do you want him?" The boy tries to free himself from Austin's grasp but he only tightens it. He finally yells out "Let go of me! I'm leaving!" Devy hears and instantly recognizes the voice. "I'll brb Kyle." Kyle nods in response and Devy walks towards his door "Let go of him Austin" "You know him?" "Yeah. Now let go of him" Austin finally lets go and Devy wraps his arms around Kevin "What are you doing here?" "Leaving... coming here was a mistake.." Kevin replies voice cracking. "No you're not" Devy turns the smaller boy around in his arms and makes him look at him. "Talk to me Kevin." "You're busy.. I don't want to bother you" "Kevin you're not bothering me now please... talk to me." "C-Can I come in...?" Kevin looks up to Devy tears starting to fall and Devy starts to fear the worst. "Yes. Come in Kevin." He leads Kevin in gently and Kevin looks around the now unfamiliar apartment "Are you moving?" "No. I just put everything away because I have company staying here for a little while" Devy points over to Kyle sitting on the couch. Kevin freezes "Kevin.." Kyle says and Kevin doesn't let him continue. Instead he just lets his emotions take control. He slaps Devy "Your company is my rapist." He runs out of Devy's apartment... but he can't react... he completely forgot about that "Devy.." Kyle starts. "No. It's not your fault..." His phone dings in his pocket and he pulls it out.

Devy sent the message and fell to the floor.. He broke the boy he cares the most about. The boy he'd walk through hell for.. He broke him. "I don't care where but... can you two leave... I just... I need to be alone right now..." Austin grabs Kyle's wrist and leads him out "Yeah of course. we're gonna go for a drive around LA." "ok.." The door opens and shuts and Devy just lets the tears fall out. He broke Kevin. He calls Chase and prays to god that he picks up.
"Hello?" He hears from the other line "Chase.." Devy chokes out. "Woah dude you okay? Hold on I'm walking to my room" "I fucked up.." "Wdym?" "Something happened with Kyle and let's just say he's here now.. I didn't even think about how seeing Kyle would effect Kevin. Who showed up at my door and asked if he could come in and I let him in not thinking anything of Kyle being here.. He slapped me and then texted me once he ran away.." "What did he text you?" "He texted me that I betrayed his trust.. I hurt him... and then he said probably the worst thing I could hear.." "Which is..?" "You broke me..." The tears keep falling and Chase is silent for a moment. "Lemme talk to Kevin.. can you get Kyle to leave for a little?" "He's already gone with his friend they're driving around town.. I needed some time to myself.." "Okay I'll call you back Devy okay?" "mhm" Chase hangs up and Devy cries even more.

Devy's phone rings he looks to see it's Chase "Get your ass presentable you're going to talk to Kevin" "No I'm not he's not going to come talk to-" He gets cut off by a knock at his door.. surely not.. "Yes he will have fun" Chase says as he hangs up. Devy stands up and opens his door a crack seeing Kevin at his front door. "C-can I come in...?" He asks voice a little fragile.. it's painfully obvious he was also crying. Devy opens his door so the smaller boy can walk in. He walks in and falls into Devy's arms. Devy holds the smaller boy close "I'm sorry Kevin..." Devy says praying he can make himself sound like he hasn't also been crying. "I'm so sorry..." the smaller boy cries into Devy's chest but finally says the words Devy had been wanting to hear... "I want to be your boyfriend"
