"yeah is there a problem with that?" Chase asks
"not at all sweetie" Chase's mom says smiling in the back seat. Kevin's phone dings and Chase asks
"Who is it babe?"
"Devy" he says while typing a reply
"Is Devy your roommate?"
"No, he's a friend"
"Ohh okay"
"What's he saying?" Chase asks Kevin
"Uh something about Alex"
"Who's Alex?"
"His son"
"Oh gotcha" Chase pulls into their driveway and helps his parents bring in their bags. Wisam walks out of the office
"Woah more people"
"Wisam I'd like you to meet my parents" Chase says awkwardly smiling
"I didn't know your parents were coming-"
"I didn't either they just- showed up"
"We need to figure out who's room they can stay in, definitely not mine"
"They can sleep in mine" Kevin starts
"Lemme just grab some stuff out so you two can sleep in there nicely" Kevin walks into his room and walks out with Devy's bag, Shroomer and a few pairs of clothes.
"top 2 drawers of my dresser are completely free for you two, hopefully it's enough room"
"It should be thank you."
"Of course" Kevin sets his stuff on the couch and Devy's bag on the floor and waddles to answer the door when someone knocks on it. Opening it up he sees Devy
"Hai"
"Hello what's up?" Kevin asks nonchalantly like he's just talking to a friend
"Something wrong ba-"
"no nothing's wrong Devy!" He says loudly smiling awkwardly, the older taking the hint
"Anyways I brought Alex over, he wants a change of location" He says rolling his eyes and looking down at the car seat. Kevin smiles widely
"Hello baby boy~" He quickly grabs the car seat and waddles in the house happily. He sits down on the couch and takes Alex out of his car seat holding him close
"Awh is this little Alex?" Chase's mom asks walking into the room
"Yea, this is his dad our friend Devy"
"Hey" Devy awkwardly waves
"Nice to meet you Devy I'm Claire Chase's mom" 
"Oh gotcha, nice to meet you as well" 
"How old is he?" 
"6 months old"
"Awh such a sweet boy" Alex promptly tries to shove his whole fist in his mouth
"Oh no don't do that sweetie" Claire says and then looks at Devy's hand
"Oh you're engaged, did his mom come with you?" Devy's heart breaks a little thinking about Talia but he says 
"No, she's at home.."
"oh okay, I bet she's a lovely fiancé" Devy smirks and says 
"Yeah she is a lovely fiancé" and exchanges a glare at Kevin
"Yeah she certainly is" Kevin chimes in
"Oh you've met her?" Kevin can't help himself at this point.
"you could say that I've met her since I am Devy's fiancé"
