Percy POV:I can't do this anymore. I've got to visit them. All of them. I ran and ran and ran, until I came to the familiar gates. "Θεέ μου, δώσε μου να περάσω στην Κοιλάδα των Ηρώων." I said. *God, grant me passage to the Valley of Heroes.* The magic gates swung open, and I entered. I sensed the Avengers sneaking in behind me, but I didn't care. I visited all of them. Luke, Ethan, Michael, Charles, Silena, all those that perished in the Second Titan War. Next, I picked 6 roses from a bush. I knew it was next to the one the Avengers were hiding behind, but I could not be bothered. I visited Jason first.
His rose was electric blue, matching his personality. Once I found out he died, I took his plans for Tenple Hill straight to Reyna. I miss him so much, he made Neptune's dingy shed into one of the prettiest temples, next to Jupiter.
Next was Piper. Hers was a green flower. She never was one of the other Aphrodite kids. She was just like Silena... she never liked pink, she was never obsessed with her looks, never tried to give me a makeover (cough, DREW TANAKA, cough), and never, never was arrogant.
Then came Leo. If he found out I was living with Tony Stark, he would never shut up. He got a red flower. He was so sweet and funny. Every time he was nervous, we would get marshmallows ready. His flame finally stopped burning.
After him was Hazel. Oh Hazel, Hazel, Hazel. I miss her too too much. Hers was a golden flower. She escaped time, but even in death, she couldn't escape her curse. I watched sadly as a diamond and a ruby popped up next to her tombstone. I was tempted to pick one up and accept my fate, but I couldn't.
Frank's turn. I gave him a yellow flower. He was always amazing. My favourite mortal animal is a golden retriever, so he would always surprise me and Hazel on the Argo ||.
Finally, it was her turn. How could she die? How could she leave me alone? I gave him a gray flower. It matched her eyes. Oh, her eyes, her hair, her smile. I couldn't help it anymore. "If only I was faster, stronger, more focused, I could have saved you, I could have saved all of you. Why did you leave me alone?" I cried out.
I broke down crying. I heard whispering, and I was suddenly engulfed in a hug. I looked up and saw Steve. "It's ok, it's all ok." He said, rocking me like a baby. "It's my fault they're dead, all my fault." I whispered. "It's not, it's not." He comforted me. After a few minutes, the rest of the Avengers came out from their hiding place and stood there awkwardly. "So... training tomorrow?" Natasha asked me. I gave her a sad grin. When the others stared glaring at her, I said "Sure, but what time is it?" I asked. Tony checked his watch. "7:30, time for dinner." He said. "Hang on!" Peter exclaimed. I forgot he was here... he wrapped his arms around my waist and shot out a web... no no no no no! Zeus please don't kill me. Zeus please don't kill me. I held on for dear life. We landed on the roof of Stark Tower. By then the other Avengers were there too. I latched of him and kissed the ground. "Oh I'm so glad you're still here. Thank you too Uncle Z." I said, still lying on the ground. Thunder rumbled; a warning like 'You're welcome, but don't you ever do it again. I won't hesitate to smite you.' I smiled after hearing that, but then I turned my full attention towards Peter. I gave him one of the glared Lupa taught me. He flinched and backed away. I inched towards him and he inched backwards. I pulled out the drakon bone dagger Andrew left me, and held it to his throat, him now dangling over the edge of the building. "You ever, EVER even, THINK, of doing that again, I will NOT hesitate to throw you off this building." He gulped and nodded his head. I grinned a sickly - sweet smile. "Good," I said. I then turned to the scared Avengers and asked, "What's for dinner?" Peter now standing behind Tony and rubbing his throat. "Umm.. pizza ok?" Bruce asked, a little scared now. "Sure! I'm just gonna take a shower." I exclaimed. Clint and Steve gaped at me, and Wanda and Natasha gave me looks of respect. I skipped past them and headed off to the shower. I stepped inside, clothes still on. I summoned the water, too tired to switch it on. As the cool water hit my face I felt rejuvenated. I was instantly better. After 25 minutes, I stepped out, and willed myself dry. Perks of being a Poseidon kid. I threw on some fresh clothes and walked to the living room. I was the first one there, so I got control of the TV. As I switched on the marine life channel, the Avengers collectively sighed. "Shut up." I told them, and grabbed two slices of pizza for myself before those animals got to it. I couldn't help it; I randomly burst out laughing hysterically at some of the things those animals said, and the others gave me weird looks. After our meal and my laughing fits, Steve announced I would be starting school next week. "So, where do you want to go?" Peter asked. I cannot go to Goode anymore. It's just filled with memories of Mom and Paul. "I go to Midtown High School." Peter said, not shutting up. "Yeah, sure! That one." I told them. "Well, I'm off to bed! Training tomorrow and all that." I walked off into my room. I changed into my pajamas and got ready for more torture... Yay...
