Peter POV:

"Those are my cousins!" Percy yelled, looking proud of her relatives. I wish Wanda were here. I wanna know what goes on in that head of hers. "Next is strength . You all have to punch a punching bag until we say stop." Natasha said, also looking truly the tiniest bit impressed.

Percy POV:

Sure. I can punch a bag. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. That was when it started. "Now?" Nico asked. "Now!" Thalia confirmed. "What are they doing?" I heard Natasha whisper to Clint. "PTSD! ANXIETY" I started. "CRIPPLING DEPRESSION! THERE IS NO QUESTION-" Nico continued. "YOU SHOULD K!LL ME!" Thalia sang. The Avengers gaped at us. "LET ME BE WITH EVERYONE! I FEEL LIKE SH!T EVERYDAY!" I shrieked. "I'M ASKING NICELY, DO IT BY DROWNING!" Nico sang. "Under the Sea!" I finished. "That was... fun..." Tony said. Steve's eye twitched. "WHAT THE-" he started. "LANGUAGE!" Clint yelled before he could finish. He and Tony burst out laughing.

"Ok, let's start." Natasha said, stopping them.

Steve POV:

What happened to these kids? Oh God. Just, I need to get Percy a therapist. And her cousins. "Ok, let's start." Natasha said. "Sure," Percy said, shrugging. Nico went first. "Whoo!" Thalia said, clapping. Percy clapped too. The other Avengers were cheering too, and Natasha even gave a head nod of impress. Next went Thalia. She definitely shocked (see what I did there, shocked?) all of us. Next came Percy. She punched and punched.

Percy POV:

Yay!!!! Thalia and Nico killed (killed- Nico- see what I did?) that punching bag. I'm gonna dominate them though. I walked up and took a deep breath in. I'm not gonna lose control. I don't think I can take another hurricane. New York can't either... Thalia and Nico cheered for me, and the others whispered among themselves. I tuned out everything (a new skill I'd learnt) and focused on the bag. I started slow, with a punch a minute. Then I went faster. I then mixed it up, with an assortment of kicks and punches. No. No, no, no. I felt that tug in my gut. I saw them. I saw Smelly Gabe, I saw the Minotaur, I saw Kronos, I saw the Giants, and last, I saw Gaia. I punched harder and harder, growing more aggressive. My knuckles were bloody when I punched one last time and the bag flew across the room. But not before I saw her. I sank to my knees once again. The Avengers looked concerned, and Thalia and Nico enveloped me in a giant hug. Steve rushed down to me, along with Peter. "Okay, um, tell me about your mom." Steve said. "She was beautiful, sweet, the kindest. She was never afraid. She always smelt like candy. I was abused, and she still managed to make life better for me. She was my mom." I said sniffing. Nico started talking in Greek. "Perce, I got an IM (iris message) this morning." Then back to English. "Hazel's alive."

How? How could they think I let me think I ruined her second chance at life? The tug came back. I felt all the water vapour in the room.

Nico POV:

Oh schist. She started giving off a deadly blue aura, and her eyes glowed that beautiful color of sea green, but it was polluted with red. The smell of the ocean that always clung to her vanished. She rose up. Peter backed up, looking scared, and Steve just stood there, looking at her.
"Nico, take me to them. NOW." She said, switching between Greek and English. I've only ever heard of her like this. Only Annabeth has seen her like this. In Ta-Tartarus. She said Percy choked a Goddess, Akhlys, in her own poison. Annabeth described it as the scariest thing she'd ever seen, and the scariest part was, Percy enjoyed it. "Y-yes." Thalia said. I took both of their hands and the Avengers'. I stepped into the shadows with them, envisioning the Empire State Building reception. After just a second, we stepped out. The Avengers looked around confused. "Wait here. Don't move a muscle." I said, using the scary voice. Natasha was the first one to snap out of it and took charge. I ran to the desk where Thalia had just gotten the key. The poor guy was sopping wet, and his clothes were singed. I ran through the doors right before they could close, leaving behind the confused Avengers.

We were listening to the annoying music of the elevator to the 600th floor. "Better than the Doors of Death, huh Nico?" Percy asked. She had calmed down by now. "Yep." Was my response. The elevator gave a 'ding!' as we entered the throne room of Olympus. Our entry immediately shut up the always bickering Gods and Goddesses. I heard a bit of conversation, such as "-cereal! So healthy! Hades is too-", and "-om!-", and "Zeus, has my trident ever been stolen? Can't say the same for your bo-" and then it all stopped. Poseidon rushed down his throne to give Percy a hug. The moment he released her, she became scary again.

Percy POV:

"How? How could all of you not tell me about Hazel?" I said the moment Dad released me. "How could you let me live, thinking I ruined her second life? How?" I said, in between tears.
"Percy, calm down." Dad said. The other Gods looked a little scared, and I realized I was now in my own hurricane.
"Do NOT tell me to calm down no-" I was cut off as I saw the reflection of a ghost behind me. I dropped from the hurricane to my feet, Riptide in my hand. I dropped it when I saw who it was. It was her—it was Annabeth. I fell to my knees yet again. She walked over to me.
"Haven't I given enough? Haven't you given enough? All I want is to stop fighting," I asked, full-on sobbing now. She touched my face sadly.
"You have given so, so much for this world, Percy. You can rest for now. But something new is coming. Hades gave me permission to watch over you. It's okay. Don't live stuck on me."

Annabeth then walked over to Thalia and Nico. "Protect her for me. She's done so, so much great stuff since we were twelve. I want her to be okay," she told them. Nico shed a few tears, and Thalia cried into Annabeth's shoulder.
"It's okay," she comforted her.

She came back to me. I was on my feet now.
"I'll always wait for you in Elysium. I love you," she said, kissing me one last time.
"I love you," I choked out. With that, she vanished.

"Hecate," I acknowledged her presence.
"I will take care of the Avengers. You must not reveal your secret now. Rest, young hero, for you will rise like the phoenix," she said, touching my shoulders.
"Thank you."

She snapped her fingers and we were back in the tower. "They have no memory of the last hour. Enjoy the time you have, Perseus." Zeus's voice boomed in my head. I realized he was silent the whole time I was there. Proud of you, Drama Queen. Thunder rumbled, as if to say, "Don't test me."

I love my family.

A/N: how was it? I hope you liked it! Sorry for the late updates, but I'm on vacation and doing my best. Thank you for all the reads!!!!!
