"Any requests?" I asked the crowd, knowing what Piper would ask for. "I know one." I heard an unfamiliar voice and turned around, my guitar dropping to the ground. Annabeth and Piper got their daggers ready, Leo pulled out a lighter, Jason flipped his coin into a spear, Hazel and Frank got their bows ready, and a ball of water formed in my open palm. The intruder pulled out a bow just like the Hephaestus cabin makes them. He/Her shot an Apollo camper, a Hermes kid and a few of the unclaimed, staying at my mom's cabin.

"You guys stay here, I'll go after him/her. Help the others, and defend the camp if there are any friends." I told them, and gave Annabeth a light kiss. "Take care of yourself. Don't do too much. Please, Percy. Please." She told me, touching my shoulder. I took her hands in one of mine, and gently touched her face, tucking a loose curl behind her ear. "I promise." I almost whispered. Releasing her hands, I ran off into the familiar woods, aware of her fingers reaching out behind me.

I found our hooded friend, an uninvited guest. "I don't know who you are, nor why you're here, but let me make this one thing clear: I've got people to protect, friends I can't neglect, so I'm not taking chances, dear. If you make one wrong move, you're done for. Anything I don't approve of, you're done for. I could put a spell on you, and you're done for. Boy, you better run, or soon you'll be done for." "I don't mean to tip your scale, but you will fail at placing any spells on me. I just ate a flower, one that claims your power, so you better cower now and flee." Our little friend spoke for the first time, and her sentence shook me to the core. It was how Luke managed to evade me so long in the first war. "You must be a liar; mortals can't acquire moly without dire consequence." "Then I must be a god like you, 'cause I got this root from the ground with my bare hands." She said, very proudly. "Someone gave it to you, didn't they?" I asked, very skeptical, giving a small smirk. "Okay, fine, yes, but regardless, you and I are now evenly matched. Our fates are intertwined; they're attached." She picked up her bow, which was lying on the soil and aimed it at me. My smirk was wiped clean off my face. "I've got people to protect, friends I can't neglect, so now, there is no turning back. You've made your one wrong move, and now you're done for. I will be the one to prove you're done for. Not even a spell will save you, 'cause you're done for. Oh, you better run, or soon you'll be done for." I ran towards her with Riptide, and she started shooting arrows. I used a ball of water to keep her still while I unmasked her, and she was squirming. She had red hair, green eyes and freckles. "You've lost. My half bloods are like my siblings, and I protect them at all costs. The last time we let others live, we faced a heavy loss. You've given me no reason to bestow you with my trust..." I released my water and I helped her up.
