Greetings to you as well,
When I first started reading your letter, I kind of felt depressed. But then when you said we were going to break the rules and be sneaky I said, "there's the sugar!" I was very happy to say the least.
I was so mad to think that your mother wouldn't let me come and see you! No one should be keeping my family I apart. Especially father and son, no matter what the costs are. If people are family, then they need to stay together no matter what. Even if the cookie has crumbled, there is no reason to not hold on desperately to what is salvageable.
It just makes me so angry. No one will come between you and I. People like us should not be held a part. No matter what happens, I guarantee to you that I will find a way for us to meet. No matter what.
I mean, you must be mad as well? If I were you, I would be beyond peeved. I mean, how do you feel knowing your father has been kept from you for eleven years of your life? I bet you didn't even know you had a father until you saw all the other boys and girls with one. That's when I bet you started asking. But seriously, how do you feel about that?
I will arrive in Wisconsin on June 7th. That will be the exact date. I will send you a letter telling you when you can visit me. I will also give you directions to my hotel. Now I have some papers to look over, so I better get going.
Lots of love,
Dad
P.S. I amoverly excited to meet Steve! He sounds like a swell man (koala.)
