"Thanks for coming everyone!" I shout to our roaring crowd of fans. "We love you!"
I give one last wave to the audience, smiling at my peers before turning and jogging backstage.
"Great job guys," Louis pants, unlooping the guitar strap from around his neck.
"Last show of the tour," Liam sighs. "I'm gonna miss this."
I look at Zayn. He stares at his feet, his expression indecipherable.
"Hey," I say, bumping his shoulder. "You alright?"
He looks at me with his unnaturally luminous eyes. "Yeah. I'm fine."
"You sure?"
He forces a smile. "Yeah. Just a little homesick."
He continues on and leaves without us.
"Don't worry about him, Harry," Louis says. "He's probably just hungry."
"I know," I agree. "It's just that...he's been distant lately."
"He's a vampire. He's not supposed to be cheery," he smiles, rubbing the British flag face paint from his face with a wet towel.
I sigh. "Well, back to the normal life."
"Hey," Liam says. "You're the one that suggested living both lives."
"I know. It's just...sometimes I wish we just tell everyone who we are. I feel like life would be so much better. Less stress. No having to worry about work. We're already rich!"
"Who are you kidding?" Louis jokes. "You love working at your dad's pizza shop."
"Yeah," I agree, taking my cerulean blue wig off. "Sometimes."
"Stop being so dramatic," Liam smiles, throwing his towel at my head. "You're a bloody pop star in disguise. What could be better than that?"
I look him. Love.
