Y/N POV
As we're walking across the barren wasteland that lay in front of us, I decided to put in Big Iron - Marty Robbins holotape in my Pip-Boy. I decided to zip down the top of my jumpsuit and tie it around my waist but kept my vest on.
Y/N: "No one dared to ask for his business, no one dared to make a slip" I was singing mumbling "For a stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip, Big iro-" I was interrupted by Lucy
Lucy: "Y/N"
Y/N: "Wha- huh? Uh yes?" I said confused
Lucy: "We need to talk...." She stop walking, with me stopping a few feet ahead of her "We need to talk about that conversation before my wedding" she sternly
Y/N: "Oh... ohhhh.... n.....noooo" I drone on as I dart my eyes away and back to her
Lucy: "Now I acknowledge that we both feeling for one another..." she takes a deep breath and get closer "And while I don't find the circumstances to be ideal, I believe the best choice is for us to enter a mutual relationship" she finished saying while grabbing my hand and holding it to her chest. I was momentarily speechless while I tried to think of a response.
Y/N: "Uh.... Couldn't y'know.... Confess like a normal person" I chucked out with my brain short circuited, Lucy playfully slaps my shoulder before wrapping her arms around my neck and getting close my face
I instinctively put my hands on her waist, with my heart pounding out of my chest I close the distance between us. With our breath mingling before our lips meet in a gentle collision, a sense of warmth floods through me as we lose ourselves in the moment. As we both start to pull away, we stare at each other eyes I lean my head towards her forehead
Y/N: "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to do that" I huff out a laugh as we both blush
Lucy: "Yeah me too" she whispered as we pull apart, as we walk Lucy decides to interlink our hands together as we saw a sign that said "Filly"

As we walk through the forest to reach Filly, we see a bunch of old cars in one spot. I take my camera out and take pictures as we walk past the cars.
Y/N: "Yeah that'll do nicely" I said to myself, Lucy see 2 people coming towards us.
Lucy: "Hello there..." she holds her hand out while I'm taking pictures "My name is..." she stopped once she realized she was ignored. Her smile drops for a second before regaining it. She looks towards me and sees I'm still taking pictures, she grabs my wrist to pull me along.
