Y/N POV
'This is it, after this we can all go home' I thought as we entered Moldaver's Observatory, the inside was different than what I imagined.
As we're being lead by two guards the first thing we see is a field of crops, when we finished walking through it we see a community of people. Kids were playing and people were eating, it felt as we walked into our Vault. Me and Lucy smiled at this community before we continued walking to Moldaver.
"I thought it was gonna be more intimidating" I whispered to Lucy as I gave her the head
"I thought there were going to have bodies as scarecrows"
"Really? I thought more in the line of them being armed to the teeth"
"I guess that too, I mean they did bomb the Vault"
"Y'know I kinda forgot they did that"
"How? It literally shook the entire Vault"
"Uh I was too busy bleeding out Lucy"
"Oh... right... " we stayed in silence until Lucy spoke again "Y'know I never got to say thank you"
"For what?"
"For coming with me... You could've stayed home and you wouldn't have lost your hand, you've had my back since this whole mess happened so I really appreciate it..." She said with a smile
"Oh that? Don't worry about it, I would gladly do everything all over again if it meant keeping you safe" I said with a smile, Lucy gives a peck on my cheek "You ready?" I asked as we neared the observatory where Moldaver was in
"With you? I'm always ready" She said before we entered the room
Once we entered we saw a statue in the middle of the observatory, the dome was blown open with air blowing through it. Near the hole of the observatory we saw Moldaver eating with three ghouls being tied down to the chairs, and next to them we saw him in a cage.... Lucy's dad, as we were getting closer to them we saw him get up and go to the bars of the cage.
"Lucy" he said surprised
"Dad/Hank" we both said, relieved to still see him alive. As we went to get closer to him, we were blocked by two guards
"Welcome" Moldaver said, we turned to look at her while we heard the three ghouls snarling at us "Join us, it's my turn to host isn't?" She said while pointing to two free chairs, I simply scoffed at her before spitting on the floor before Lucy stared to speak.
