"Yall cmon" I yelled as I walked out the door
It was christmas eve and everyone was dressed in matching pajamas. We were on the way to visit Mari and open our gifts there. We wanted to make sure we included her even if she wasn't up yet
I walked out and put the gift I got for Hope in the trunk. It was something cute and simple because that's all she asked for. We all had pulled names out of a hat and then went shopping for them
Everyone had loaded up in my truck, I made sure Jay was in the passenger and Sev was in the third row. They had been eyeing each other the whole day, I just hope everything is fine. I got in and backed out the driveway
I pulled off down the street and played some christmas music to set the mood cause why not. We got there in 10 minutes even though it usually takes 20 but driving with me is different. We all got out and checked in and headed up to Mari's room
Everyone had got Mari a gift and put it under her little Christmas tree we set up too. We all sat around her and I was watched her heartbeat. I was just moving right along, I miss her like crazy. Everyone does
"Has Mari's parents came to see her" Hope asked
"Her father does, but her mom no." The doctor said. We ain't even know she was in here
"That's fucked up" Jameir lowly said
"Literally" I agreed
"Ok yall, let's open giftsss" Ryah rubbed his hands together
"Okayyy I got Lani" Faith smiled and handed me a bag
I took it and took out the little wrapping paper stuff. It was a nike tech, a polaroid camera, and some nike low dunks. I smiled and hugged Faith because I know she just spent a little bag on me.
"Thank youuu" I smiled big
"Your welcome girlll" She smiled as well
"Ok I got Hope" I handed the bag
She opened it and it was a skims set, some kurt geiger slides and a matching purse
"Girllllll you got big moneyyy" She widened her eyes and got up to hug me
