[Rayne's POV]

"Maybe I was a bit too harsh on him." The thought kept coming back, I shook my head. "No, that's the only way for him to grow up."

"Rayne! There you are!" Ryoh shouted, which surprised me. Which caused me to flinch and fall backwards a few steps. "There were witnesses of Innocent Zero in the city!"

"Innocent Zero? Aight, I'm coming."

[Few moments later]

We arrived at the scene, people were huddled over a tiny old man telling his story.

"I couldn't see his face! He was a double-liner!" He shouted, his face traumatized. I shuffled through the crowd, trying to get to the old man. I pushed and shoved until I arrived at the other side.

"Hello, I'm Rayne Ames. One of the Divine Visionaries." His face lit up. He grasped for my hand.

"Mr. Divine Visionary!" He yelled in excitement, "please you have to listen to my story!" I nodded.

"Yes, yes. That's what I'm here for."

"I was walking back home from the grocery store, then the sky suddenly turned dark! I was like, oh! It must be a thunderstorm. But it wasn't! A dark figure wearing a hood appeared in the sky! You couldn't see his face because of the hood, but he was a double-liner!"

"Innocent Zero actually appeared, but what for?" I thought.

"A-and he had someone next to him!"

"Who?"

"He had long grey hair! His eyes were also covered with a mask like thing!"

"Long grey hair and a mask-like thing." I muttered, "noted." He fell to his knees like his legs suddenly stopped working.

"Please Mr. Divine Visionary! You have to save us!" He stammered. "Or else we'll all die at Innocent Zero's hands." I helped him onto his feet.

"Don't worry, we Divine Visionaries will fulfill our duties." The crowd cheered.

"Mommy! When I grow up I want to be just like him!" A little boy said in the crowd. "I want to be a Divine Visionary!" I smiled.
