[Finn's POV]

A memory of our childhood appeared before my eyes. It was that time when Rayne stole from a local bakery to feed us.

"HEY YOU LITTLE BRAT! COME BACK HERE!" The store owner yelled, chasing Rayne with a wand. He cast a spell that made Rayne trip and fall to the ground, but Rayne stood up almost immediately and continued running. He tripped over and over again, but he kept standing up again and again. When he came back he had bruises all over his body.

"Brother...... Did you steal food again?" He tossed me a piece of bread.

"It's nothing," he patted my head, "eat up." I looked at the piece of bread he was holding for himself, it was half the size of mine. I swapped out pieces of bread. "Hey! What are you doing?"

"You're older than me, so you should eat more." I replied, already gobbling down the bread.

"No, you have to eat more!" But I already finished my bread. I looked at him and smiled. He paused, then smiled as well. He slowly nibbled away at the bread. Then the world turned black.

"Gack!" I found myself in the library, "oh I must have fallen asleep. I stretched and rubbed my eyes, the library was empty. It was half past nine, I stood up, pushed in my chair and walked out. The hall was empty and silent, except for my footsteps. I stopped, there was another sound, it was someone else's footsteps. Someone was walking up towards me, he was wobbling, like a newborn struggling to stand. Half yellow and half black.

"Rayne!" I ran towards him, the closer I got, the more I realized how tired he was to the point where he can't even stand. He soon collapsed on my shoulder. He had dark circles under his eyes. "Ah he must be tired," I thought, "where's his dorm?" Another sound of footsteps was coming from in front of me, someone with white hair and tiny strands of red at the bottom.

"Ah! Well isn't this a pleasant sight to see?" He said, coming closer. "You're Finn Ames, am I correct?" I nodded. "Kaldo Gehenna." He took Rayne off my shoulders. "I'll be taking him to his dorm. You can go back and rest." He cast a spell and soon they were gone.
