[Finn's POV]

"Wait, you mean the Divine Visionary?" I asked in disbelief. He nodded.

"Go meet up with him after your classes, he's gonna be in the garden."

"Hold on, I'm going now. This is my last class today." I ran back into the class and grabbed my notebook, then ran off.

"Good luck!" I heard Rayne shout, so I turned around. I smiled, then waved goodbye.

[Time skip]

When Rayne first said that I would be Kaldo's student, I was more than happy. But I never thought that it would be...........

"Kaldo! I thought you were gonna teach me magic!" I whined, while I continued slicing the sashimi into pieces and handing them to Kaldo while he ate.

"Yeah I'm gonna." He answered.

"Then why am I cutting an endless pile of sashimi!?" I complained. "What is cutting sashimi gonna help with magic!?"

"Be patient." I was extremely angry at this point. But then something hit me.

"Patience." I thought, "that's what he's testing me on." I kept my mouth closed the rest of the day while slicing sashimi.

[A few days later]

"Hm, so he's finally catching on." Kaldo thought he stood up from his chair for the first time after ordering me to slice the sashimi. "Finn, I think it's about time I actually taught you something." He said, my eyes sparkled.

"Finally! What new magic am I learning?" He picked up his wand and a bunny appeared before my eyes. Except, it was missing a leg.

"You are gonna learn healing magic." He replied.

"WHAT!?" He looked at me like healing magic is some kind of good thing.

"What? Healing magic is just as important as everything else." Kaldo said. I sighed.

"I mean, okay fine." He smiled.
