(Victoria's POV)
TO START. It was always Paige and Victoria - Victoria and Paige. If there was one, there was the other. Even thought i'm saying always, i met paige in person at age 15, we clicked instantly. And before we even met we admired each other's talent. Ever since freshman year, i had been so amazed by how she played. After meeting at 15, we would try to talk to each other as much as we could but, between our games, practices, and academics we didn't have much time to communicate. Anytime we were close to each other, even if that meant a few states away, we would try to meet up and hang out, and in such a short amount of time, she became someone so special to me and I can never explain the feeling I had for Paige Madison Bueckers, but they were friendly feelings and nothing more...right?
Around the time we were 17/18, we finally were able to play on the same team, USA U19. I am forever grateful that I had the chance to be a part of that team, I met lifelong friends on that team, For example, 2 of my best friends Caitlin and Azzi were on Team USA.
I always have shared a love for UCONN, I mean my father is the head coach of the WBB team so I was on campus a lot, and we both wanted to go to UConn so bad but I never knew if I would be able to go to UConn and play basketball because my father was the coach and we weren't sure the NCAA would approve(this was before Dan hurleys son played on his team), they did I applied instantly and so did Paige, and we both got accepted and made the basketball team.
