planned for me to fly down to Cali
one week this summer
and do a camp with mamba

Victoria decided to turn her phone off, but she couldn't stop the tears. She walked out of the bathroom crying and Caitlin ran right over her.
"Tori, what happened?" Caitlin said as she wrapped her arms around her. Victoria couldn't stop crying so she just hugged Caitlin tighter. She didn't know how to say goodbye. Her and Caitlin stood there for a little while and once they let go, Victoria grabbed her phone and showed Caitlin. Caitlin instantly hugged her again and let Victoria cry into her shoulder.

After a little while of trying to get her mind off of it, Victoria took a deep breath and settled onto Caitlin's couch. Determined to shake off her worries, she briefly flicked on a lighthearted TV show before turning to Caitlin. "Cait, we're still going out with your team tonight, right?" she asked. "Of course, you in?" Caitlin replied, joining her on the couch. Glancing at the time (5:24 pm), Caitlin advised, "We need to be there at 7, and it's a 15-minute drive. You might want to start getting ready." Victoria nodded and headed to the bathroom. As she applied her makeup, she felt a surge of confidence. Changing into a red top and jean shorts, she knew she was ready for the night ahead.
