The rest of the trip went smoothly, well kinda. It was the last full night, Geno was kindve catching on so the girls decided to go to the wildwood boardwalk, the boardwalk that brought back a lot of memories for the two.

The drive was around 20 minutes and consisted of their shared playlist playing on the radio and small talk which, at the start felt very forcef but they got more comfortable as the night went on.

They both won't admit it but they missed this, they missed hanging out with each other. Even if this situation was forced upon them, they are enjoying it.

Once they got there, they just walked around, looking for any sores that interested them. They decided to get ice cream and sit down on a bench.

"So..." paige says turning to look at Victoria. Paige has wanted to talk to victoria about her and nick this whole time but she didn't want victoria to shut her out again. "what?" victoria asks looking back at Paige confused. "i'm not tryna be nosy or anything but what's going on with you n byberry" paige asks. Victoria started shaking her head "nothing- well not nothing like we're still dating but nothing-" Victoria says as the words fall out of her mouth. Paige looked at her "you know i can tell when ur lying right?" she said as Victoria looked down in her lap. "ugh, he's just been so bitchy- and i know your the last person i should be telling but i just can't with him anymore. He's so controlling and i just hate it. And to make it even better i'm not even attracted to him in the slightest-" Victoria's eyes go wide as she covers her mouth with her hand. Paige laughs "don't worry, i get it." Paige says trying to reassure the girl.

Paige definitely gets it. she hates Nick more than anyone, but what she doesn't understand is what vick meant when she said "i'm not even attracted to him in the slightest". When paige would ask about victoria, Azzi would tell her that her and nick are so happy together. But that's also an outsider perspective.

The girls started walking down the boardwalk again, they went to the beach to watch the sunset. Something they used to do all the time.

It's clear that they had gotten comfortable around each other again but victoria isn't budging about the "once we go back. this never happened" thing. Their friends also think it's crazy that they are being civil for once.

The girls spent maybe one more hour on the boardwalk until they decided to go home.

This vacation felt so different, everything feels different. The girls aren't used to being with each other and not speaking.

On the car ride home, paige posted on her spam.
