The first season featured a faun doctor who had a daughter - me and jayoungr elaborated on that :)

By the time of Legacy, the daughter (for this spin-off named Althea) is now working as an assistant to her father and a close friend of the main squad. Her mother died from a masked stranger shooting her on the street, and she survived the riot at the Burgue in season 2 of CR. I wrote a plot for a backstory where she and Telly (at this time a street orphan still) ran from the police, but were followed by an officer and hid in a closet in an abandoned house from him. When he opened the doors finding them, they jumped at him and stabbed him with knifes they carried with themselves for self-defense, and discarded in the river shortly after.

She's protective of her younger sister Zoe and, along with her father, doing her best so she can have the best future prospects.

Zoe is not university, but in school yet, and advocating too with her friends - people acknowledge that she's clever and brave, but don't take her very seriously yet. She attends the advocating meetings too however, even gives a speech, being the youngest present to do so

Towards the end of the first season, the opposing party abducts her - because they decide if they show "the enemy" and the public that they will even hurt children among them, that'll scare them into submission, "especially the women" (yes throw that in!) - so that brings some haste into the finale of the season because Zoe is in danger.

Zoe, not hurt more than bruises from being captured, briefly shares a room with Telly's sister (bc they don't think they need high security for a little girl) who's been cared for, but has essentially been in prison ever since abduction

After the rescue, Zoe gives a public speech again, detailing how she was abducted and what they were going to do to a skinny, essentially helpless child just to show that they would - the public is moved by this poor, sweet girl and anger arises against the people who would want to hurt her or be dismissive

Edit: and she also mentions how Telly's sister was kidnapped and essentially murdered by them

"They are hurting little girls! Young women too! They do because they think it will scare us. But I say they don't get fear from us - but rage!"
