Here's a pic of Alaska :) | A/N (Hopefully it actually showed up)|

"Alaska, come out please."
"No, go away."
"Alaska, you have to. You're alpha now."
"Whatever. I'll be out in five. Just go away."
I yawned and rolled out of bed, feeling groggy from sleep. I put on my best 'I'm okay' face and made my way downstairs. My pack-mates all bowed their head in respect and looked at me with pitiful eyes. Sighing, I grabbed an apple and made my way for Kyl- I mean my office. It's been only two weeks since Kyle's death, but it feels like forever. When I took the position of Alpha people were NOT happy. The teasing got worse and people began to not take orders from me. I had to use my alpha tone on more than one person in a week. A soft knock on the oak door brought me back to reality.
"Come in." I called.
Cody's head popped in through the door frame and I rolled my eyes. "Morning sleepy-head!" he exclaimed cheerfully.
"What do you want Cody?" I said impatiently.
"Ouch. Look Alaska, you have to move on-"
I cut Cody off before he could finish his sentence. "Cody shut it! Don't you dare tell me to move on. You will NOT tell me what to do."
"But-" Cody began.
"But nothing! GET OUT NOW!" I screamed, using my alpha tone on full power.
Cody visibly winced and hesitantly got up. It was clear he was trying to fight my Alpha-tone, which a lot of people seemed to be doing lately. I groaned in frustration. Why me? Maybe I should have stayed at my old pack.. No! I must never think like that. Leaving there was the best thing I could ever do. I don't think I could handle being with Brad or the pack.
"BOO!" a voice screamed from the door-frame. When my head shot up it was none other than the pest herself. Maddie.
"JESUS CHRIST MADDIE WHY YOU DO THAT?!" I yelled. She almost gave me a heart-attack!
"Sorry, Sis... I-I saw the opportunity.. and.. I grabbed it by the throat." she said, almost rearing over in laughter.
"Whatever" I scoffed. "What do you need?"
"Well.. Actually, I need to talk to you." Maddie's face dropped and she looked at the floor nervously.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked, leaning back in my chair."
"Alaska.. Please just don't hate me.. Okay?"
I straightened up in my chair. "Maddie, what is it? You're kinda scaring me."
She began to tear up. "Alaska. I didn't run away from the pack." she started.
I blinked. Unsure what to say, I made her go on before asking a question.
Maddie took a large breath and gulped loudly. "Brad sent me to find you and bring you back! But Alaska before you say anything just let me explain!"
I stood up. What? How could she do this? I glared at her, making her shift around uncomfortably. "Go on." I said through clenched teeth.
"Brad told me if I found you that he wouldn't hurt people in the pack anymore! I was so fed up with what he was doing, that I was ready to risk my friendship. I'm so sorry Alaska! As soon as I arrived I got out my phone, ready to call them to attack, but I couldn't! I didn't realize how much I had missed you until I saw you! To top that off, I met my mate! Alaska you have to believe me when I say how sorry I am! I could never betray you!" Maddie was sobbing now, sides violently moving from her breath becoming quick. "But.. But everything I told you was true! I only lied about running away! Brad told me if I returned empty handed he would torture me to death, and kill even more innocent people! Oh Alaska, please don't hate me!"
"Maddie shut up!" I barked. She cut off, staring at me with wide-eyes. "I don't hate you Maddie." I began.
Maddie's face brightened. "Oh thank y-"
I cut her off. "But! That doesn't mean I'm mad." I finished. Her face fell immediately and she looked down to the floor. "I understand why you followed his orders. Brad is horrible. I just really wish you'd have told me sooner."
She looked up at me with a pained-expression. "Alaska, it's been eating me alive. I really wanted to tell you, but I just couldn't! I'm so sorry I didn't tell you."
I gave her a warm, genuine smile. "I forgive you, Maddie."
"Oh thank you Alaska, I promise, no more secrets." she vowed, then rose from her seat and walked out.
I watched her leave and sighed. It was then when I realized how alone I really was. I had no parents. No mate. No more family period. The only ones I have is my two friends. I'm not complaining or anything, but it really does hurt. I walked out of my office and walked back to my room.
'If anyone needs me they'll just mind-link' I thought to myself. I opened the door, and walked over to my bed. Deciding that a shower will make everything better, I grabbed some clothes and a towel and made my way to the bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror I scoffed. 'Well no wonder I was rejected. I mean, look at me!' I thought. My skin was too white. Eyes just a normal dark brown. Hair was a messy auburn color. Angry, I punched the mirror, causing it to shatter into millions of pieces. Oops. I felt a warm liquid moving down my arm, and looked to see blood gushing out of my hand. 'Great' I mentally scoffed. Turning on the warm shower I stripped down of my clothes and went in. I put my hand in the water first, letting the water wash off the blood so I could see the damage. Eh, nothing too serious. Just a small gash. Being a wolf, my hand will heal incredibly fast, so it wasn't anything to worry about. After washing the rest of my body, and hair, I felt clean enough to exit and dry off. After putting my clothes on and drying my hair, I exited the bathroom and walked back to my office.Cody's voice cut into my head, sounding urgent. "Alpha, we have an en unexpected visitor."
I sighed. "I'll be right there, where are you?"
"Outside the pack-house."
I walked outside and nearly puked at who was before me.
"Hello, Alaska. Great to see my mate alive and well." Brad said smirking.
