Chapter 7: Welcome Back

   I sat there, eyes widened with disbelief. The moon goddess gave me a second chance mate? Why? Why me of all people in the world? I glanced over to Logan who was staring at me with love, and was that lust? My cheeks reddened and I looked back down.
"Well are you going to say something?" Logan asked with worry in his voice.
"W-What am I supposed to say?" I said. Logan's face fell at my words. "I'm shocked, to say the least" I said quickly.
His face lit up. "I am too... You're not going to reject me right?"
"Of course not!" I exclaimed. "Why would I?"
"Well, that's what happened last time I found my mate." He said sadly.
"Well, I'm not her." I smiled.
Logan's lips turned up into a wide smile. "I'm so glad that the Moon Goddess gave me you."
   My cheeks reddened and I smiled at the words and looked down trying to hide it.
   "Don't hide your smile. It's so beautiful." Logan said.
   "Sorry, i'm just not used to comments like that" I admitted.
   "What do you mean?"
   I took a deep breath. "My mate rejected me also."
   "He's an idiot, anyone would be happy to have you."
   "We should probably go tell the pack what's happening." I stated.
   I got up and opened the door, leading Logan downstairs to tell everyone the news. Almost everyone had an unsure look, but after much reassuring they accepted him and looked at him with awe. I showed Logan his room, because I wasn't so comfortable sharing a room yet, and went off to my room, locking the door when I got in. After sitting on my bed I decided to go on my computer to relax, hey just because i'm alpha doesn't mean I have to be serious and boring ALL the time. I went on Youtube and started to watch Vine compilations. After a while I finally closed my laptop and decided on going to bed.
The next morning I awoke to an enormous pain in my skull and screamed in pain. A few seconds later Logan and Maddie were by my side, eyes clouded with worry.
"Alaska, what's wrong?!" Maddie asked, panicking.
"I-I don't know!" I barely huffed out. The pain was unbearable, and that's saying a lot for an Alpha, not a lot of things hurt werewolves.
"What's going on? Don't you know? Can't you help her?!" Logan yelled, it was obviously effecting him as well. Maybe not physically, but the thought of his mate in pain was enough to send him in a fury.
"I can't help her if i don't know what's going on!" Maddie yelled.
"Calm..down..both of you!" I yelled between gasps. Them yelling didn't help this at all.
"Sorry.." they both murmured in unison.
My headache subsided about 20 minutes later, leaving me tired and sore.
   "Guys i just need to rest now. I'll see you later. Tell Cody to take my place today." I said.
   "You got it sis." Maddie said, turning to leave. "Hope you feel better."
   "I'll check in later Alaska." Logan said, relief filling his eyes. "Yell if you need anything. Oh wait, just mind-link me."
   I chuckled. "Will do, see you later."
   "Okay bye." He said leaving.
   I laid down sighing. 'That was so odd' I thought to myself.

About two hours later I awoke to ringing in my ear. 'What the?' I thought.
An all too familiar voice cut into my head, making me almost scream in happiness.
"Did you miss me Alaska?" Angels voice cut in, sounding a bit weak.
