Nickel and a Reunion [NICKLOON]

Chapter 18: The Party Part 1

Narrator POV:

We time skip (for the millionth time) into the afternoon. Not much has happened, but there's been rumors going around the air, mostly about a party.

Going to our main characters, they're talking and laughing with some others objects on the phone. (we know who the main characters are...)

Shut up.

Nickel cracks a joke, and the group starts to laugh. 

"Man, it would be nice if you guys visited." Nickel says and Balloon nods in agreement.

"Yeah! It would be amazing." Suitcase agrees. "Oh, we gotta go. Bye! We'll see what we can do to meet up." She and Baseball hang up.

Little did they know... there was an opportunity for them to come over...

OJ soon calls an emergency meeting, so Balloon gets up and starts to leave. Nickel starts to follow him.

"Uh... I'm not sure you're supposed to come." Balloon says nervously, not wanting to hurt his feelings.

"Why can't I come?" Nickel protests, pouting.

"Cause you're still sick." Balloon responds.

Nickel rolls his eyes but mutters in agreement. He goes back to his bed. Balloon waves to him and leaves.

And then they lived happily ever after-

WAIT I'M SORRY DON'T WAI-

Balloon's POV:

The elevator dings as I get to the lobby floor and I make my way over to the living room. There are quite a few others who are here, and I spot Nicki and Nicks. I sit next to them. Nicki smirks at me and I raise my eyebrows.

"So.... how did it go?" She whispers.

"How did what go?" I ask, confused.

"Flirting with Nickel."

I freeze, a blush forming on my face. Nicks looks over at us and raises an eyebrow. He must have heard our conversation.

"It was... uh- nice, I guess. He didn't seem to mind." I finally answer. 

Nicki grins. "I knew my advice would work."

Nicks and I share a glance and we roll our eyes. I talk to some other people as we wait for OJ. He soon walks in with Paper.

"ALRIGHT, EVERYONE QUIET DOWN!" OJ yells over the noise. 

It takes a moment, but soon our attention is on OJ. He smiles.

"The reason why I called you here is because I've got some news." OJ starts. Everyone waits in suspense. What could the news possibly be?

"We're going to host a party!"

The living room erupts in cheers. I grin widely, kicking my feet. I love parties! I look next to Nicki and she's rambling to Nicks about what she's going to wear. OJ quickly tells us to quiet down.

"But! We've got some rules to go over." He continues, and everyone groans.

"Please dress appropriately if you're going to wear something. We've got kids here." OJ gestures to Cherries and Bot. (i see bot as a child)

"No alcoholic drinks or any items like that." He glares at Trophy, who rolls his eyes.

"Keep things at a level." OJ's gaze shifts over to Nickel's cousins and Yin-Yang. They all smile innocently.
