"Logan! I found him!" Mike's voice yelled through the halls and Logan ran to him and Mike led him to Will. Will was out on the field having another episode. "Will! Will!" Logan exclaimed placing his hands on his little cousin's shoulders. "Logan! What happened!" Joyce asked running his way with Lucas. "I don't know, Mike found him like this." Logan said standing next to Will. Joyce kept trying to wake Will from his episode but he wasn't waking. Joyce begged and pleaded with Will. Will finally opened his eyes and took in a huge breath. Logan felt like he could breathe as well.

Joyce took Will home. Logan and the others watched Joyce's car drive off. Logan's eyes never left the car until it was nowhere in sight. "Okay, that totally freaked me out. Did that not freak you guys out?" Max asked. "Two episodes in two days." Lucas stated. "It's getting worse." Mike added onto Lucas. "You think it is True Sight?" Lucas asked, making Max confused. "What's True Sight?" Max asked. Everyone was quiet for a moment. Mike and Dustin looked at Lucas. "It's nothing." Lucas told Max. "I'm gonna go ahead and go home, you guys. Good luck finding Dart." Logan said waving bye to his friends. He got on his bike and left to go home.

Logan parked his bike in the garage and walked through the kitchen door that connected the garage to the house. Logan let the door close by itself. "Logan! Where have you been?" Marisa said walking from the living room to the hall where Logan currently was. "I was at a surprise AV meeting. Lost track of time. I'll let you know next time it happens." Logan said before going upstairs to his room. Marisa just sighed as she watched her son close his door, she didn't see him again for the rest of the night. He didn't come to dinner, she left his dinner on the table next to his bedroom door and when she got up the next morning it was still there. She opened his bedroom door and saw that Logan was already gone.

Logan stood next to the dumpster's as his best friend dug in one of them. "This is disgusting. Not exactly how I wanted to start my morning. Mike tell me something. When I left you dick bags alone yesterday, how many ideas did you go through before deciding this was the best one?" Logan asked folding his arms across his chest. Mike just looked at him annoyed. Logan raised his eyebrows in urgency. "How many?" Logan pressed. "I get it, are you going to help?" Mike asked Logan holding a stick out for him. "No way, am I sifting through trash, to find this creepy ass lizard. Hopefully it is somewhere, already dead. I'm going inside, I'll meet you guys later." Logan turned around to be met with Dustin's face. "See ya, Dustin." Logan bid his farewells. "What is his problem?" Dustin asked as Logan walked inside.

Logan sat in his chair in Mr. Clarke's classroom, he wrote down notes as Mr. Clarke talked. "All living things, from complex mammals to single celled organisms, instinctively respond to danger. Expose a bacterium to a toxic chemical, and it will flee. Or deploy some other defense mechanism. We're very much the same. When we encounter danger, our hearts start pounding. Our palms start to sweat.These are the signs of the physical and emotional state we call...fear." Mr. Clarke said teaching the class.

During lunch, Mike went to call the Byer's household to find out what was wrong with Will and why he was not here. "So, why did you leave so suddenly yesterday?" Max asked Logan. "Oh, um..." Logan began but was cut off by Mike running over. "Anything?" Lucas asked. Mike walked up the steps of the school and opened the door. "We need to talk. AV room. Right now. Party members only." Mike said looking at Max. "Come on, Mike." Dustin said wanting Max to be a part of it. "No! This is non-negotiable." Mike said. "Micheal, don't be a dick." Logan said, getting sick of Mike. "You can stay out here with her." Mike told Logan, then he walked inside. "I'm going to punch that kid in the throat." Logan said before looking at Max. "I'll tell you what happens later, I promise." Logan says to Max before he follows the party inside the school.

Mike sat on the table as Logan stood in the corner of the room. "Will didn't want us to tell anyone, but on Halloween night he saw a sort of shadow in the sky." Mike told Dustin and Lucas. "A shadow?" Lucas asked. "What kind of shadow?" Lucas asked with a stammer. "I don't know. But it scared him. And if Will really has True Sight...I mean, if he can really see into the Upside Down, maybe he saw that shadow again yesterday." Mike said as Logan nodded. "So that's why he was frozen like that?" Dustin asked. "Maybe." Mike said. "Can it hurt him? I mean, if this shadow thing isn't from our world..." Lucas asked. "We are not sure. Dustin?" Logan said, then looked at Dustin to explain. "Well, if you're in another plane, you can't interact with the material plane, so theoretically, no, the shadow can't hurt him." Dustin explained. "Yeah, if that's even what's happening. This isn't D & D. This is real life." Mike added. "So what do we do?" Logan asked getting pissed at the situation. "We acquire more knowledge. I'll go to Will's after school. See what's going on. You guys stay here and find Dart." Mike told the boys his plan. "Dart? What's he gotta do with this?" Dustin asked getting defensive. "Will heard him in the Upside Down. I don't know how yet, but he's gotta be connected to all this. He's gotta be. If we find Dart, maybe we can solve this thing. Maybe we can help Will." Mike said to the boys.

After school, Logan went to meet up with Lucas and Dustin in the hall, after he got his math book out of his locker. Logan saw, Lucas and Max talking so he followed them outside. Logan walked out to witness the two arguing. "What is going on?" Logan asked. "You guys act like you want me to be your friend but then you treat me like garbage!" Max said still ranting. "That's not true!" Logan said to Max. He did want to be her friend. "Yes, it is! You go and hide in the AV Club, keeping secrets like we're in second grade or something. You know, I thought you guys wanted me in your party." Max said getting frustrated. "We do. But it's..." Logan said trying to find the right words. "But what?" Max asked impatiently. Logan stammered so Lucas took over. "There... there are just things. Things we can't tell you, all right? For your own safety." Lucas told the red head girl. "My own safety?" Max asked not believing what she was hearing. "Yes!" Lucas exclaimed. "Because I'm a girl?" Max asked. "What? No!" Lucas shook his head at the accusation. "Did you keep secrets from El?" Max asked bringing up Eleven. "How do you know about El?" Lucas asked. "Did you?" Max asked Lucas again. "That was different. Trust me. Okay? That was just... just different." Lucas tried to get Max to understand. "Okay. You know what? Forget it, okay? I don't wanna be in your stupid party anyway. I'm out. Have a nice life." Max said not sparing the boys a look. "Max!" Lucas called out. "You still stink, by the way!" Max said not turning around to the two boys. Lucas smells himself. "Oh, shit!" Lucas threw his hands up. Logan watched Max leave and get in a car. "Come on, let's go find Dustin." Logan said walking back to the school with Lucas.
