Jin ah pov:
Today is the day. The important meeting between Jeon Enterprises and Kim Corporation is finally here. I wake up early, nerves and excitement churning in my stomach. This meeting could mean everything for Park Corporation-and for me.
As I get dressed, I choose a professional yet stylish outfit: a tailored black blazer, a crisp white blouse, and a pencil skirt that falls just below the knee. I pull my hair back into a sleek ponytail, hoping it will give me an air of confidence and competence. I glance in the mirror, taking a deep breath. "You can do this, Jin-ah," I tell myself.
I arrive at the office, the tension palpable as soon as I step inside. Everyone is on edge, preparing for the big meeting. Mr. Park Jimin calls me into his office for a final briefing.
"Jin-ah, are you ready?" he asks, his usually calm demeanor now tinged with stress.
"Yes, Mr. Park. I've reviewed all the documents and I feel prepared," I reply, trying to sound more confident than I feel.
"Good. Remember, this is crucial for us. Jeon and Kim are both powerhouses, and securing this deal will elevate Park Corporation to new heights. Don't let anything distract you."
I nod, understanding the weight of his words. "I won't let you down."
As I leave his office, I notice some employees from both Jeon Enterprises and Kim Corporation arriving. They gather in the conference room, their presence as a reminder of the high stakes involved. My heart pounds, but I push the nerves aside, focusing on the task at hand.
I enter the conference room, my heart pounding as I see Taehyung already seated at the head of the table. His mere presence sends a shiver down my spine, and I can feel his eyes boring into me as I take my seat. I try to ignore him, focusing instead on the task ahead.
Mr. Park nods at me, his expression serious. "Jin-ah, I need you to represent our company in today's meeting. You've prepared for this, and I have full confidence in you."
I swallow nervously but nod, steeling myself for what's to come. Standing up, I walk to the front of the room, feeling the weight of everyone's eyes on me, especially Taehyung's penetrating gaze.
As I begin the presentation, I try to block out everything else and focus solely on the task at hand. I speak confidently, explaining our proposals and strategies with clarity and precision.
Suddenly, Taehyung interjects with a pointed question, his voice cutting through the silence like a knife. "Jin-ah, how do you plan to address the issue of scalability in our proposed expansion?"
I take a moment to gather my thoughts, meeting his gaze head-on. "We've conducted thorough market research and analysis," I reply evenly, "and our strategy includes flexible frameworks that can adapt to changing demands."
His lips curl into a smirk, clearly unimpressed by my response. But before he can press further, Mr. Park intervenes, redirecting the conversation back to the main points of the presentation.
As the meeting progresses, I find myself fielding more questions, both from Taehyung and from Jeon, the representative from Jeon Enterprises. They challenge me at every turn, probing for weaknesses in our proposals and strategies.
But I refuse to falter. I answer each question with confidence and poise, determined to prove myself in the face of their scrutiny.
Finally, as the meeting comes to a close, I feel a sense of relief wash over me. I've done it. I've represented our company to the best of my ability, despite the distracting presence of Taehyung and the relentless questioning from Jeon.
