As the morning sun cast its golden rays across the bustling office, Jin-ah found herself immersed in her daily routine, her mind still reeling from the unexpected encounter with Taehyung the day before. Despite her best efforts to focus on her work, his presence lingered like a haunting melody, impossible to ignore.

Suddenly, the intercom crackled to life, Jimin's voice piercing through the quiet hum of activity. "Jin-ah, could you come to my office, please?" he requested, his tone conveying a sense of urgency.

With a furrowed brow, Jin-ah rose from her desk, her heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and apprehension. What could Jimin possibly need from her now?

Entering his office, Jin-ah found Jimin poring over a stack of papers, his expression grave yet composed. "Jin-ah, I must commend you on your handling of yesterday's meeting," he began, his voice laced with a hint of admiration. "You managed to navigate a difficult situation with poise and professionalism."

Despite the praise, Jin-ah couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of her stomach. There was something in Jimin's demeanor that hinted at more than just a routine acknowledgment of her efforts.

"However," Jimin continued, his tone growing somber, "we have a situation downstairs. A customer has arrived unexpectedly and is demanding to see the CEO."

Jin-ah's eyes widened in surprise. A demanding customer was nothing out of the ordinary, but the urgency in Jimin's voice suggested that this situation was more serious than usual.

Nodding in understanding, Jin-ah steeled herself for the impending confrontation. She knew that dealing with irate customers was part of her job description as Jimin's secretary, but she also knew that this particular customer would not be easy to placate.

Descending the stairs to the main lobby, Jin-ah spotted the customer immediately - a middle-aged man with a stern expression and a sharp gaze that seemed to pierce through her. She approached him cautiously, her voice calm yet authoritative as she attempted to defuse the tension.

"Good morning, sir. How may I assist you today?" Jin-ah inquired, her tone polite but firm.

But the customer's response was anything but courteous. He bristled with impatience, his voice rising with each passing moment as he demanded to see the CEO immediately.

Despite her best efforts to reason with him, Jin-ah found herself pushed aside as the situation escalated. In the chaos that ensued, she felt a sharp pain shoot through her hand as it collided with a sharp edge, causing it to start bleeding.

Before she could react, the door burst open, and Taehyung strode into the room, his presence commanding attention. Jin-ah's breath caught in her throat at the sight of him, her heart racing with a mixture of fear and longing.
