Raditz and Y/n sped through the cold expanse of space in a single Saiyan space pod, leaving the hostile world of Nyroad far behind. Their mission to collect the Dragon Balls had led them to numerous battles and encounters, and they had just acquired the third Dragon Ball after a fierce fight with the Rosette Demons. Raditz glanced over at Y/n, who was fiddling with the third Dragon Ball, her expression thoughtful.

"You're unusually quiet," Raditz remarked, breaking the silence.

Y/n looked up, surprised. "Just thinking about what’s next. Three down, four to go."

Raditz nodded, but his gaze lingered on her for a moment longer than necessary. He admired her strength and determination, but he kept his feelings carefully concealed. Y/n was oblivious to the turmoil within him, focused solely on their mission.

Suddenly, the pod's warning systems blared to life. Raditz's face darkened as he read the incoming signal.

"Shit.. Frieza's forces," he muttered. "They’ve found us."

Before Y/n could react, their pod was forcibly drawn into a tractor beam, pulling them toward a massive spaceship. The pod was brought into a docking bay, and the two were unceremoniously ejected from the craft. They landed on their feet, surrounded by Frieza’s soldiers.

"Stay close," Raditz whispered to Y/n, his eyes scanning their surroundings. They were escorted through the cold, metallic corridors of the ship until they reached a vast chamber. At the center of the room, on an elevated throne, sat Frieza.

Y/n stared, her eyes widening at the sight of the diminutive but undeniably menacing figure. This was the infamous Frieza, the tyrant whose power was whispered about across the galaxy.

"Welcome, Raditz. And you must be Y/n," Frieza said, his voice cold and mocking. "I’ve been hearing quite a lot about your little quest for the Dragon Balls."

Raditz stepped forward, his body tense. "What do you want, Frieza?"

Frieza chuckled. "Oh, I simply want to play. It's been ages since I’ve had a good fight. And you two seem like the perfect entertainment."

Without warning, Frieza launched himself at Raditz, who barely managed to deflect the blow. The battle began in earnest, with Frieza’s soldiers retreating to give their lord room to maneuver.

Frieza’s initial form was no match for the combined efforts of Raditz and Y/n. They fought in sync, their movements a deadly dance honed by their time together. Raditz was relentless, his strikes powerful and precise, while Y/n's agility and speed kept Frieza on his toes. Their synchronization was remarkable, a testament to their shared experiences and growing bond.

"Y/n, cover the left!" Raditz shouted, his voice cutting through the din of battle.

"I'm on it!" Y/n responded, dodging a flurry of energy blasts before launching her own counterattack. Her movements were fluid and precise, each strike aimed with deadly accuracy.

As the fight progressed, Frieza began to transform. His first transformation increased his bulk and strength, but Raditz and Y/n adjusted quickly, their teamwork unbroken. Frieza’s second form was more challenging, his power and speed dramatically increased. Y/n felt the strain of keeping up, but Raditz’s fierce determination kept them both going. They knew they couldn't afford to falter, not against an enemy as formidable as Frieza.

Frieza's laugh echoed through the chamber, a chilling sound that sent shivers down their spines. "Is this the best the Saiyan race has to offer? How disappointing."

In his third form, Frieza's appearance grew even more grotesque, and his power surged further. He launched a barrage of energy blasts, forcing Raditz and Y/n to dodge and counterattack with everything they had. Despite their best efforts, Frieza’s power seemed inexhaustible. Raditz could feel his energy waning, the strain of the battle beginning to take its toll.

"Raditz, we need to change tactics," Y/n panted, her eyes darting around as she searched for an opening.

Raditz nodded, sweat dripping down his face. "Agreed. We need to hit him harder, faster."

Finally, Frieza transitioned to his final form, a sleek, streamlined version of his original self, but exponentially more powerful. His speed was blinding, and his attacks were devastating. Raditz and Y/n were pushed to their limits, struggling to keep up. Every move Frieza made was a blur, his attacks a cascade of energy that seemed impossible to counter.

Amidst the chaos, Frieza’s piercing laughter filled the air. "Is this all you’ve got? How disappointing."

With a swift motion, Frieza unleashed a Death Beam. Y/n gasped as the beam pierced her chest, leaving a clean, smoking hole through her heart. She stumbled, the pain overwhelming, and collapsed to the ground.

"Y/n! NO! " Raditz's roar echoed through the chamber. He dropped to his knees beside her, cradling her body. Her breathing was shallow, her eyes unfocused.

Frieza laughed, a cruel, triumphant sound. "Pathetic. She was no match for me."

Raditz’s vision blurred with rage and sorrow. Memories of Y/n’s unwavering determination and their battles together flooded his mind. A fiery aura erupted around him as he stood, his power surging to new heights. His hair turned golden, and his eyes blazed with fury.

"This is for Y/n," Raditz growled, his voice trembling with emotion.

Frieza’s eyes widened in shock. "A Super Saiyan? It can't be!"

Raditz attacked with unprecedented ferocity, his strikes fueled by his grief and anger. Frieza struggled to defend himself, his confidence shattered. The chamber shook with the force of their battle, each blow echoing like thunder.

Raditz's newfound power was overwhelming. He moved with blinding speed, his attacks precise and devastating. Frieza’s attempts to counter were futile, each strike met with relentless aggression. The tyrant was pushed back, his defenses crumbling under Raditz’s onslaught. Every blow Raditz landed was fueled by the memories of Y/n, her strength, her determination, and the bond they had forged.

Frieza fell to his knees, his body battered and broken. "Please," he begged, his voice weak. "Spare me."

Raditz hesitated, his golden aura flickering. His chest heaved with the effort of containing his rage. He raised his hand, ready to deliver the final blow, but a faint whisper reached his ears.

"Raditz…"

He turned to see Y/n, still clinging to life, her eyes pleading. Raditz's resolve faltered. He lowered his hand, his aura fading. With a swift motion, he struck Frieza, knocking him unconscious.

Without wasting another moment, Raditz scooped Y/n into his arms and carried her to the ship’s medical bay. He gently placed her in one of the healing tanks and activated it. The tank filled with greenish liquid, enveloping her in a soft glow.

Raditz watched anxiously, his heart pounding. "Hang in there, Y/n. Don’t you dare leave me."

As the healing process began, Raditz stood vigil by the tank, his thoughts consumed by the battle and the acceptance of his feelings for Y/n. He vowed to protect her and see their mission through, no matter the cost. He knew now, more than ever, that they were not just fighting for the Dragon Balls, but for each other.
