Euros pt 1

Ellie's PoV

Since the day I releases the song I wrote for Jess and stormzy it's being played everywhere their fame has rocketed and I loved watching the success. But today is a day I forget about all of that as I get the twins ready to go and watch Leah in her first match back as captain in her last euros.

I take a picture of the twins and my god they look adorable. I had already sent Leah a cheeky picture of me in a lace thing and just and England shirts lifts to show under boob. To which I got a response of;

Ellie: *sends Leah picture*

Leah: fuck me sideways, backwards anyway you want my wife is fire 🤤🤤💦💦

Ellie: so you approve?? 🤔🤔

Leah: 100% but for my eyes only and now my screen saver.

Ellie: le you better not have!!

Leah: why not my Lock Screen is the kids my Home Screen is you 😍😍

Ellie: 🫣

I run around and pack the kids a bag with toys for half time and we head into the car picking up my mother and Amanda on the way.

As we arrive at the stadium we're taken into the private entrance and escorted through to the box where we would have a pre match meal and a chill before heading to the family box. After lunch and watching the girls warm up I head in and tell our mothers to go to the family section with the kids so I can see Leah a pre match ritual we do.

As I knock on the changing room door I hear the girls go quiet.

"You all decent" I ask

"For you never" Ellie shouts making everyone laugh.

I walk in and see Leah sat in her cubby putting her socks and shoes on. She looks at me and smiles. I'm engulfed in a hug by Lucy though taking me by surprise.

"Do I not get a pic like that seeming as your my bestie and all" I look at her confused.

"What pic"

"I seen Leah's phone" she smirks. I glare at Leah who looks confused.

"I'll send you one later" I wink at Lucy making her blush. I walk to Leah.

"Hey baby"

"Don't hey baby me I told you about the picture Leah now Lucy has seen it" I say with a small smirk on my face.

"Sorry" she says obviously not sorry. I stand her up and hug her kissing her neck.

"You got this my sweet girl, me and the children will be cheering you on loudly from the stands, show the world who Leah Williamson is. Show them why your captain and why your the best" I say kissing her shortly.

"Me and you" she says softly.

"Always" I smile I turn and walk off Leah slapping my arse as I do.

"Good luck girls show them what the lionesses are made of" I say making the whole room cheer.

As the announcer starts to talk I take my seat signing autographs and taking pictures on the way to my family. I watch as Leah leads the team out. I see her and she looks over at us. Me and the kids wave and send kisses which makes her smile.

"You got this" I mouth and she nods.

We watch as they warm up slightly and then they huddle before getting into position.

"You got this" I whisper to myself.

I watch on as the first half gets underway and my god the girls are on fire. Goal after goal after goal. They are dominating the other team and Leah shouting encouragements makes the girls feel comfortable. The children waving their flags and tooting the horns their nans got them having a blast. As the whistle blows and half time arrives the kids go back to playing while I talk to other relatives.

I never in my life thought I'd be a wag but look at me. Williamson and Leah's number on the back of my shirt. I felt where I belonged and the crowd loving the atmosphere. I'm approached by one of the directors of the euros who asks me if I could get any performers for the final and of course I thought of no other than Jess and stormzy. We agreed to meet in the meantime to discuss options and I felt like a boss bitch right now.

As the girls walk out for the second half they're at the other end of the pitch and the kids wave at Leah who waves back and blows a kiss you hear the crowd awe and it makes my heart melt. The second half gets underway and the ball is received by Leah and she takes her time using her skill and patience to sought out opportunities that's when she sees Beth. She send a through ball over everyone and it lands at a sprinting Beth.

"Yaaay aunt beffy" I hear the kids shout and with that she swings her leg and hits the ball hard. It soars past the keeper and into the net. She runs over to us and kisses the kids heads making a heart with her hand and jointing the girls back on the pitch.

"Mummy mummy" they shout.

"I know babies I think she scored that for you both" I smile.

The match ends a 6-0 win and the girls are elated. That's when I see Leah. She head over and takes me into a hug. "I love you" she whispers.

"I love you more" I say and she gets me to pass the kids over the barrier and asks me to join.

We walk the pitch the kids take off kicking the ball with Beth and some of the girls. We hear the crowd get louder and I look and see aria with the ball running to the net. We watch and she kicks it Mary pretending to not be able to save it the crowd goes wild and aria runs to celebrate tapping the England badge.

"All you" I say to Leah I see tears forming in her eyes.
