first day as a babysitter

Alastors pov

"Ok here's my number and my emergency number and my spare emergency number" Lucifer fretted around as he got ready for his first day back at work "I have a list of things to do including times for meals, food she likes and her bedtime"

"Understand" I nodded as I opened the door for him "have a good day Mr morningstar. Don't worry, your daughter is in good hands"

Once he finally left I let out a sigh. God that man's exhausting, though I must admit his love for his daughter is rather endearing.

"Mr alastor" my leg was hugged by a tiny girl. I smiled and petted her head.

"Hello my dear" I bent down to her level "Your father's gone and I'm in charge. Now what would you like to do first?"

"Oh I should give you a tour of the house!" She threw her arms up excitedly "daddy said that's what a good host does"

"Alright" I chuckled softly. What a strange girl.

*Time skip*

"And this is the stairs and this is the hallway and this is daddy's study. We're not allowed to go in there" she whispered the last part.

"Ah I see" I nodded politely as the little girl showed me around. My eyes landed on a picture of Lucifer, Charlie and a beautiful woman by his side. Charlie followed my gaze and her face fell.

"That's my mommy. Daddy said she's in heaven now" she explained with a sad look in her eyes "I miss her"

"I understand my dear" I bent down and petted her head "my mother is also in heaven. I miss her every day but I know that she'd want me to live every day with a smile on my face and I'm sure your mother would want the same"

"Yeah mommy did always like seeing me smile" a smile returned to her face "will you play dress up with me?"

"Of course dear" I nodded. She smiled cutely as she took my hand and led me to her bedroom.
