Alastors pov
I opened my eyes to be greeted by the adorable sleeping face of Lucifer inches from mine. I reached out and stroked his cheek. Beautiful.
I watched his eyes flutter open as a smile slowly spread across my face "morning Al"
"Good morning beautiful" I leaned forward and kissed his forehead.
"Hehe" he giggled at my touch. I smiled softly at his adorable laugh. I don't think I've felt this blissfully happy since my mother was alive.
"Mmm it's so warm under these blankets" Lucifer cuddled into the blankets "I don't want to leave"
"How about I call for some breakfast to be brought to our room" I suggested.
"Yeees I love you!" He hugged my waist. I stoked his hair with a smile as I reached over to the hotel phone.
After a few minutes Charlie woke up. A smile lit her face as she jumped out of her bed and crawled under the covers. Lucifer smiled and kissed her head. We really are just like a little family.
After a while of cuddling the staff came in with a tray of breakfast.
"Oh yummy" Charlie exclaimed as she admired the bacon eggs and hash browns.
"And I'm sure it tastes just as good as it looks" Lucifer grinned as he handed out our plates "dig in everyone!"
And we did just that, savouring the taste of breakfast on our tongues. When the little girl wasn't looking I reached out to take his hand. Maybe someday we can tell her..
