•What's been happening in your world? What have you been up to? I heard you fell in love, or near enough, I gotta tell you the truth, yea. I wanna grab both your shoulders and shake, baby. Snap out of it.•

Vi sighed, watching the Sanses leave their house was incredibly depressing, despite the fact that they had just had a sleepover, one of many, and Blue was hesitantly hovering at their side.

"You ready?" Blue gave them no option to back out, knowing that they most likely would've if prompted with the chance.

"No, but let's go," Vi adjusted their clothes a bit, tugging on the collar of their turtleneck and propping their glasses farther up on their nose.

Vi couldn't lie, they were quite anxious to see Mike again, but unlike when visiting Pluto, they would have no regrets.

Well maybe one regret.

They were over it, they hoped.

Blue gingerly took their hand in his and teleported the two. They were in a suburb though less trashy than Vi's own, was it a gated community?

"Vi, text me when you need to come- you don't have my number.." Blue paused, pulling out his own phone, Vi took out theirs and the two swapped numbers, "there we go, text me Vi."

With a wave he was gone, Vi breathed in deep, turning around to walk down the sidewalk. They knew Mike's address, just didn't want to teleport with Blue straight to his house. It would be weird they assumed and while they didn't know what happened with Mike, Blue, and Dream, they'd assumed it had been awkward.

"I can do this," they muttered to themself, knocking on the door of the large home. How Mike could afford it was beyond them. A few minutes passed, Vi almost thought he wasn't going to answer the door, despite the lights on inside and a car in the driveway.

The door opened slowly, a disheveled man stepping out with a murmur. Vi scanned him over, he wasn't hurt, but his eye bags were definitely worse than Vi had ever seen on him, he almost looked like he had been crying. He was wearing a hoodie, a dusty blue with a fluffy hood, some random messy t-shirt, and sweatpants. He definitely hadn't changed his clothing style either.

"Mike," Vi chattered anxiously, Micheal's hazel eyes lighting up in recognition.

"Vi? What are you doing out here?" Micheal asked, rubbing a hand through his greasy brown hair.

"I came to see you! I figured you'd be sad after the whole incident with the Bad Sanses," Vi tried to smile, holding their arms out for a hug that Micheal returned gently. He stepped out onto the porch with Vi.

"Bad Sanses?" Mike questioned, he didn't seem to understand like Vi did.

"The people in your house," Vi elaborated, they were glad that Mike got them out unscathed, Vi realized quickly that they must've been manipulating Micheal the entire time, to let them stay in his house.

"Ah.. right," Micheal stayed silent, leaning out over the porch railing. Vi hesitated, he was quiet, quieter than usual. Quieter than in their fading memories.

"Are you.. okay? Did I say something wrong?" Vi's hands twitched for the back of their wrist instinctively, they watched as Micheal sighed.

"No it's not you, Vi, I'm just.." he stopped, slouching, "I dunno what's wrong."

"Do you," they hesitated to say it, because they themself didn't want to know the answer, "Do you not want to be friends anymore?"

"I didn't say that- Listen Vi," Micheal paused, huffing, "They were my friends for weeks, my only friends, I've thought about it and I don't care what they did in the past."
