Chapter 10 Tenth stunt

The five couples walk to their next stunt holding their partner's hand. They see Emily and they are ready to get through the next stunt.

"Hi everyone. We are now down to five couples competing for one million dollars. You guys are over halfway to the million. There is still plenty of competition. The good news for this stunt is no one will be eliminated. Instead, you will compete for ten thousand dollars and two news iPods." said Emily.

Everyone was cheering to get the new iPods and were ready for the stunt. They see a helicopter going over the water with a cage attached to it and a water bike going down the water. They are wondering what is happening. Emily explained the stunt.

"Here is your next stunt. The women will be locked in that cage underneath that helicopter. The men will be riding on a waterbike. You will climb up a rope to the cage, hand your partner a pair of keys and drop into the water. The women will have to unlock two locks, open the door and jump into the water for time. The couple that does this the fastest will win the iPods and cash. We have randomly selected todays order, and the first couple will be Alex & Jenni. Good luck and set that bar." said Emily, sending Alex & Jenni to start the stunt.

Alex & Jenni got into their bathing suits and got into life jackets. Jenni got into the cage and the expert locked her in the cage. The helicopter lifted the cage and got the cage into place for the stunt. Meanwhile, Alex put the keyband on his wrist, got onto the waterbike and the rider started going down the lake with Alex holding on to him to meet with the cage.

"Alright, here we go. Time will start when he is on the rope and time will stop as soon as she drops in the water." said Emily.

Alex got onto the rope and started climbing as fast as he could to the cage. He got to the top, got the band off his wrist, handed Jenni the keys and landed in the water. Jenni used the keys to unlock the door of the cage. She got both locks off, opened the door and jumped into the water while holding her nose, stopping the clock. Jenni & Alex swam to the boat to take them back to shore. Their time was forty-six seconds. They took off their lifejackets and joined the group.

"Good job to Jenni & Alex with an amazing time of forty-six seconds. How was it?" asked Emily.

"That is alot harder than it looks." said Alex.

"Yeah and also the scariest thing is the height you jump into the water, but I am glad we are done." said Jenni.

"Alright Kas & Kathy, you are next, good luck." said Emily, sending Kas & Kathy to have their turn.

Kathy & Kas got into their bathing suits and lifejackets. They were ready to have their turn. Kathy was locked in the cage and the helicopter lifted it over the water. Meanwhile, Kas put the band on his wrist, got on the bike and went down the lake to meet with the cage. Kas got onto the rope and started climbing to give her the keys. Kas gave her the keys and dropped into the water. Kathy unlocked both locks, opened the door and jumped into the water, stopping the clock. They got onto the boat and were happy to complete it. Their time was thirty-seven seconds. They beat Jenni & Alex's time by nine seconds. They joined the group.

"Good job to Kathy & Kas. You guys are now in the lead. Now it's Nathalie & Scott's turn. Good luck." said Emily, sending Nathalie & Scott to have their turn.

Nathalie & Scott got changed into their swimwear and put on life jackets. Nathalie was locked in the cage and got lifted by the helicopter. Meanwhile, Scott got riding on the waterbike to the cage with the keys attached to his wrist. Scott grabbed the rope and started climbing as quickly as he could. He got to the top, handed Nathalie the keys, and dropped into the water. Nathalie was having difficulty with the keys, but she unlocked the locks, opened the door and jumped into the water, stopping the clock. They got to the boat and were glad to finish. Their time was thirty-nine seconds. They were two seconds slower than Kas & Kathy's time. They joined the group.

"Good job to Scott & Nathalie for completing the stunt. They did not beat Kathy & Kas's time. Now it's time to see if Adriaan & Janet can beat their time. Good luck." said Emily, sending Janet & Adriaan to try and beat Kas & Kathy's time.

Adriaan & Janet got into their swimwear and lifejackets. Janet was inside the cage that was lifted from the helicopter. Meanwhile, Adriaan was on the bike and heading to the cage. Adriaan grabbed the rope and started climbing to the top as quickly as he could. He got to the top, gave Janet the keys and plunged into the water. Janet unlocked the cage door, opened it and jumped into the water, stopping the clock. They got to the boat and were hoping they beat Kas & Kathy's time to win. Their time was thirty-five seconds. They beat Kas & Kathy's time by two seconds. They joined the group.

Good job to Adriaan & Janet, they are now in the lead. Now, Jon W. & Rebecca, it comes down to you guys. All you have to beat is thirty-five seconds. If you guys can't beat that, Janet & Adriaan will win the stunt and the prize. Good luck." said Emily, sending Rebecca & Jon W. to have their shot.

Jon W. & Rebecca got changed into their bathing suit and were ready to do the stunt. Rebecca was locked in the cage that hung from the helicopter. Meanwhile, Jon W. was going down the lake on the waterbike to meet up with the cage. He grabbed the rope and climbed up it to get the keys to Rebecca. She got the Keys from him and he dropped into the water. Rebecca unlocked the lock to the door, opened it and jumped into the water, stopping the clock. They got onto the boat and were happy to complete the stunt. Their time was thirty-six seconds. They were one second slower than Janet & Adriaan. They joined the group.

"Good job to Jon W. & Rebecca for completing the stunt. Their time to beat was thirty-five seconds, they got thirty-six seconds. Janet & Adriaan, you guys won the prize." said Emily, handing two iPods and ten thousand dollars in cash to Janet & Adriaan.

Janet & Adriaan were hugging each other and were happy that they won another stunt. Everyone was clapping and congratulating them.

"Congrats to Janet & Adriaan for winning the stunt. The rest of you are still in the running for the million bucks. Just remember, by the next stunt, we will be down to four couples competing for one million dollars. Now let's get out of here and see what is in store for you all next. Come with me." said Emily.

The five couples left with Emily and were wondering what was in store for them next.
