Chapter 17 Final Stunt

The final two couples walk to their next stunt holding their partner's hand. They see Dawson & Emily and are ready to get through the next stunt.

"Congrats to the final two couples for making it to the final stunt. We started with nine couples and are now down to Jon W. & Rebecca and Alex & Jenni competing for one million dollars." said Dawson.

"How do you feel about getting to the final two?" asked Emily.

"It feels amazing to be in the final two and compete against strong competition." said Jon W.

"It is awesome to be here and competing with a strong couple." said Alex.

"We need to focus on the final stunt because that will either make or break us." said Jenni.

"We wish Alex & Jenni good luck in the final stunt." said Rebecca.

"You guys have won alot throughout the competition. Alex & Jenni, you guys have won forty 

thousand dollars and a trip to Las Vegas." said Emily.

"And Jon W. & Rebecca, you guys have won a pair of cars and twenty-five thousand dollars from Capital One." said Dawson.

"Well after this stunt, one couple will leave here with one million dollars and the title and the other couple will leave here with the prizes they won and a bunch of bruises." said Emily.

Everyone was clapping and were ready for their next stunt. They saw a helicopter flying over the 

water and a speed boat on the water. They also saw a platform with two flags. They were wondering what they were going to do. Dawson & Emily explained the stunt.

"Here is your final stunt. The men will be hanging onto the skid of that helicopter while the women will be standing handcuffed on that boat as they try to catch up to the helicopter to a buoy." said Emily.

"Once both of you pass the buoy, you will jump into the water. The men will swim to the ladies, uncuffed them and you will swim to the platform and release two flags to stop the clock. The couple that does this the fastest will win one million dollars and be crowned couples fear factor champions." said Dawson.

Now Alex & Jenni, you guys won the power to pick the order in this stunt. Do you guys want to go or let Jon W. & Rebecca go first?" asked Emily.

"Jenni & I will let Jon W. & Rebecca go first. That way we can learn from their mistakes." said Alex.

"Alright Jon W. & Rebecca. Good luck and set that bar." said Dawson, sending Jon W. & Rebecca to have their turn.

Jon W. & Rebecca got changed into their swimsuits, put on lifejackets and were ready to battle. Jon W. & Rebecca were on a boat being transferred to their station. Jon W. got onto a platform and waited for the helicopter with a set of keys on his wrist. Meanwhile, Rebecca got onto the ultra boat and got put into a pair of handcuffs.

"Alright, here we go. Time starts once the guy is in the water and stops once the flag is released." said Emily.

The helicopter came and Jon W. grabbed onto the skid and got carried to the buoy. Meanwhile, Rebecca was getting ready to jump from the moving boat. She jumped into the water and waited at the bouy. Jon W. jumped into the water (starting the clock), swam to Rebecca and started uncuffing her. He has some trouble with the keys but released her from the cuffs. They swam to the platform, got onto it and released both flags, stopping the clock. They were both winded from swimming but did a great job and hoped it was enough to win. They got onto a boat to take them back to the group. Their time was one minute and twenty-one seconds. They put their life jackets off and joined the group.

"Good job to Jon W. & Rebecca for a great time and let's hope that time wins you guys the grand prize. How was it?" asked Dawson. "That is so hard but I am glad we finished and now let's see how Alex & Jenni do." said Rebecca.

"Alright Alex & Jenni, this is it. You guys will win a million dollars if you beat one minute and twenty-one seconds. However, if you guys don't beat their time, the million will go to Jon W. & Rebecca. Good luck." said Emily, sending Alex & Jenni to have their turn.

Jenni & Alex got into their swimsuits and lifejackets and were ready to crush Jon W. & Rebecca's time. Alex was on the platform waiting for the helicopter while Jenni was handcuffed on the ultra boat. Alex was holding on to the helicopter's skid and was ready to jump into the water. The boat was nearing the bouy and Jenni jumped from the boat while Alex dropped into the water. He swam to her and started releasing her from the cuffs. He got the cuffs off quickly and they swam to the platform. They got onto the platform and released the flags, stopping the clock. They were both glad to be done. Their time was one minute and six seconds. They beat Jon W. & Rebecca's time by fifteen seconds. They joined the group.

"Good job to Alex & Jenni. The time to beat was one minute and twenty-one seconds. You guys got one minute and six seconds. Congrats to Alex & Jenni, you won the million dollars." said Dawson.

Jenni & Alex were hugging each other and cheering that they won the million-dollar prize. They hugged Jon W. & Rebecca for doing their best and told them that they were great competition.

Jon W. & Rebecca congratulated Alex & Jenni for the win.

"Jon W. & Rebecca, I am very sorry it did not work out for you guys but you guys made it through the competition." said Dawson.

"You guys still won the cars and the cash from Capital One but sadly, we have to send you guys off. It was very nice meeting you guys. Take it easy." said Emily, sending Jon W. & Rebecca's hand.

"Thanks for having us. We had a blast" said Jon W.

"Alex & Jenni, we want an invitation to any parties you guys are hosting." said Rebecca.

"Love you Jon W. & Rebecca." said Alex.

"Bye guys." said Jenni.

Rebecca & Jon W. took the walk of shame, realizing that they were the final couple eliminated from the competition.

"I am pretty upset that we lost but I am glad Jon W. & I went through this competition together and glad we never gave up." said Rebecca.

"I am glad that Rebecca & I were able to hang on till the final stunt and glad we won the prizes we got." said Jon W.

"Alright Jenni & Alex, that is it. You guys have won one million dollars along with the other prizes you won. We started with nine couples and now you guys are the champions." said Dawson.

"You have endured seventeen hard stunts and came in on top. You guys are the fear factor couples champions" said Emily.

"AND FEAR IS NOT A FACTOR FOR YOU GUYS!" said Emily & Dawson.

"Thanks so much, we are so happy to win the show." said Jenni.

"Good luck guys. Now let's get out of here and you guys can enjoy the million dollars. Come with us." said Dawson.

Jenni & Alex left with Dawson & Emily and were wondering what is coming next.
