Today's the day. Me and Ezra are going to witness a day in the survey corps. No, it all had to start directly in the court-- the place me and Ezra avoided in the first place. As we walk inside the huge room, I can feel everyone's eyes on us. No, more on me. I know I'm alluring. But jokes aside, I am quite unique. I have white hair, which no one else has in this place, which makes me susceptible to the danger of kidnapping or getting sold, not just for my hair but even for my unusual blue eyes.

We stand next to a few cadets. I think they're still trainees. I'm confident enough that we'll win the custody, simply because Erwin Smith is in the survey corps. However, Ezra looks a bit scared seeing everyone here. He's definitely more confident wearing his disguise while being Shadow. I frown observing that the military police are also here. I nudge Ezra. "Hey, don't panic. We're our real selves now. Not under some weird disguise." Ezra whispers back, "but what if they recognise my voice or--" I cut him off, "They won't. I know you're careful. Now I'd love to know how this goes. Dont make me babysit you instead." Ezra narrows his eyes at my statement and crosses his arms. I look around.

On one end, there's the military police with their commander Nile Dok holding a paper, and next to him was this priest looking guy. A few other people who I do recognise from our previous run-ins with the military police. But they wouldn't recognise me for sure.

Another end had this bald guy who stood quite confidently. Surrounding him were serious looking soldiers. Maybe that's the third division, the Garrison. Because on the other end, was that cunning Smith and shorty. So that's the Survey corps.

The Jaeger boy looks towards our end, presumably to see his friends. His eyes widen with shock.. or fear? His face has a fair amount of sweat on it. I'd sympathize though, it's normal to be anxious in his situation. The judge announces that he will begin the trial.

"Eren Jaeger, yes? You're a soldier, sworn to sacrifice your life for the public good, Is that correct?" The judges shifts his glasses up, looking at a paper. Eren answers with an affirmation, with respect. Interesting. "This is an exceptional situation. This tribunal will be held under military, not civilian law. The final decision rests entirely in my hands. Your fate will be decided here," the judge looks at Jaeger. A blonde guy next to me, looks at Jaeger anxiously. Probably his friend. I feel kinda bad that his friends have to see him like this.

"Do you have any objections?" the judge continues. "No sir," answers Jaeger. "I appreciate your perception. I will be direct. As anticipated, concealing your existence has proved impossible." I notice a few moments on the upper balcony. A reddish brown haired lady with glasses and another guy trails behind her. She's come to see the show too, huh?

"We must make your existence public in some form, or a threat to humanity other than titans may arise. What I will decide today, is which force will have custody of you. The military police or the survey corps? Then I ask the military police for their proposal."

"Yes sir. I, Commander of the military police, Nile Dok will present my proposal." I silently curse Nile because I know the military police are bad news. I'm too intrigued to contradict anything though. Nile continues, "After a thorough investigation of Eren's body, we believe he should be eliminated immediately." Anger courses my veins. Eliminate? This guy? That's just throwing away and opportunity. Shitty superiors... Ezra places a hand on my shoulder, sensing my agitation. I remove his hand and reassure that I won't do anything stupid.

"It is certainly true, that his titan power overcame our previous peril. However now his existence threatens to spark a civil war. So we ask him to die for humanity's sake, leaving behind all the information he can," Nile says with no remorse. Shameless guy.. how can he tell a child to die like that so easily?
