I turn around and look down at him. The one and only-- Levi Shortman. I'm guessing he's onto me about me not being Megumi's aunt. But I was very careful with my actions, so he has no proof.

"If it isn't my favourite short friend!" I playfully mock him, and watch his mouth curve in annoyance.

"Foolish woman, I'm not your friend, i'm not going to fall for whatever you do with those eyes of yours."

"That hurts, captain." I pout and he sighs.

"Let's not waste time, brat. I've questions, and I demand answers. Firstly--"

"Wait, atleast let me sit, like in a proper interrogation, you're so impatient!" I say dramatically. He clicks his tongue and points me to a room and few steps ahead. I walk towards the room, with a cheerful smile, while Shorty tags behind watching my every movement. However, I must be cautious. The interrogation sounds serious. He could be asking me questions on Erwin's orders. And damn, that commander has a sharp brain with sharper eyebrows.

We stand infront of a reddish brown wooden door with a shiny handle, it had an uncanny shine to it. He opens the door and we enter a rather small room. It is bland, but spotless. Every inch is clean, without holding a single speck of dust. So goes without a  saying, he's a hardcore clean freak. If he played a video game for cleaning, he'd definitely  be unbeatable. The room was airy and it has two wooden chairs and a queen sized bed.

"This is my room, better don't touch anything with your filthy hands. Just sit over there." I sit as instructed, crossing one leg over the other and wait for him to explain. I tilt my glasses down and look at him. Now that I see him up close, he's kinda.. okay looking? Like the type of guy who'd take forever to get a girl. If it was based on looks, he might get a few women. He sure will, if he was in my previous world. Who am I kidding, he probably has Erwin right now. They seem close. Also reminds me of--

"Hey, stop staring and answer me!"

His slightly rough voice awakens me and saves me from getting any flashbacks. I slap myself lightly and his expression darkens as he holds my hand from preventing myself to do any further. I give him a slight grin before pushing his hand off.

"Are you crazy?" he asks in disbelief.

"Maybe."

"You're insufferable. Anyways, answer me this, were you involved in killing the captive titans?"

"Huh? Of course not. I was with Hange and Eren the whole time." His steel grey eyes narrow significantly after that.

"Of course I know that. I'm not a fool. I asked if you were involved. Not the killer."

I huff in annoyance. He has the least amount of trust a person could have. I've been with them for like, a while now, haven't I? Maybe it'd take an expedition to get them to trust me. I look the guy in the eye with a serious tone.

"Listen, if you still think I'm working with them, you're ridiculous. I left that life. Remember?" I say the last part with a hint of sarcasm. He continues with his monotonous questioning, ignoring my snarky remark. He really is uptight.

"Erwin might think you're an asset, but to me, the survey corps doesn't need someone like you. I know what you've done, you damn criminal," his voice sharply lingered in the air with the word criminal. I bite my lip to not get any thoughts right now. I can't be easily wavered by the likes of someone like him.

I let out a wry chuckle. "So you don't believe I'd protect people here? Kill titans? And I thought you'd atleast have a brain in that tiny head of yours. Clearly that was a mistake. You have no empathy, do you?" I mockingly laugh with a cold, empty smile. This guy is going to be my death. He stands up, irritated with my antics.
