The sun shone over the little hideout where Azura and Megumi were residing at. The day was awfully bright, much to Megumi's distaste. Azura couldn't care less. They were about to start their wild experiment.
"Ready, Gumi?" Azura chirped excitedly.
"Born ready," Megumi declared in a matter of fact tone.
The pair marched up to the forests, where Azura had been practicing her cursed techniques for over a span of several weeks. She'd gotten it almost to the point where she'd left off, and took pride in her level. She was determined to do her best.
They crossed paths with cracked roads, broken trees which had the misfortune of being destroyed by the reversal red and hollow purple. That was also the way to go outside the walls without the use of gates.
"We're here," Azura pointed out at the massive walls standing up against the titans. It was a barrier, a safeguard which the people believed kept them safe from titans. But were they really protecting themselves? Azura's thirst for that knowledge grew, as she levitated the whole length of the wall and stood over it.
Before they knew it, they were there. On top of the walls. Their vantage point was an advantage, as they skimmed the whole place. It was crawling with titans. But they were prepared to face the demons.
"Megumi, I'm taking on this one!" Azura yelled at the boy who had just made it to the top of the wall through his summoning animals.
Azura's energy burst through in the form of the reversal red. Bright red light flowed through the air like blood, which seeped out of humans when titans ruined them. Tables turned, as Azura launched her attack and a few titans were destroyed in one swift blow.
Her smile widened and Megumi scoffed. 'a show off as usual', he thought.
"I hope you're learning well, Megumi," Azura said as she continued to exterminate the monstrous, man eating beasts with hideous faces. Azura seemed thrilled, uncannily as she shot more red beams at a hoard of titans, with gaping mouths and crooked eyes and their iconic mismatched footwork.
"Now it's my turn," Megumi declared, and jumped off his summoning animal, Nue. The brick coloured bird looked on, watching Megumi with its big eyes. He landed on the ground where a couple of titans were there. Gojo narrowed her eyes at him but she forced herself to continue her battle. Megumi was not a useless child. He can take care of himself. But wasn't that what she thought before? Hasn't that lead to this situation they're in?
Megumi faced the titans analytically. His eyes moved left to right. Then in a thick raspy voice, he yelled,"Orochi!" A vast expanse of shadows covered the area surrounding him, and ahuge white snake, bigger than before appeared by his side.
'Put more curse behind it'
Megumi tightened his jaw at the memory of his battle with Sukuna. He was determined to not fail this time. He was going to put everything he had into this one. He waved his hand at Orochi and pointed it in the direction of the titan.
"The nape, Orochi!" The snake followed his command and its long sword edged tongue bit the titan's nape with ease. The titan dropped dead. Nue flew over the scene and produced thunder and stunned the full gang of titans. Not one titan could fight back. Megumi looked on, a sense of hope swelling inside him. He could feel his cursed energy depleting, but he didn't care. He had to do this.
Azura beamed. "That's my student.."
An abnormal showed up soon. It ran messily about at a rapid pace. Azura was about to obliterate it, but Megumi stepped in. He was on Nue's back, hovering over the incoming titan. He channelled cursed energy into Orochi and commanded it to bite, but it missed and the titan ended up hitting Nue, causing Megumi to fall. It grabbed the injured boy, and Azura arrived just in time to kill the titan. She looked a bit exhausted.
