“I’ve seen every Idol Survival that Music Days has ever produced,” wrote the person who introduced themself as a fan.

[Let’s talk about the favored members among the 18 contestants.]

(T/N: the terminology here is milmem. There’s no exact translation, but the closest would be a member who gets all the support, either from fans or their companies, so I decided to translate it to ‘favored’ because the implication of the text is that they’re more or less set to debut.)

Son Jae Ha
Those who know him already know everything. The secret trainee who was an unofficial member of AG, but often appeared at music camps and other official events organized by AG’s AR team, so many people asked who he was.

The Ace of AG’s purebred male trainees. The top flower of the current AG garden.

First off, as the current hot topic as the ‘47.5-second guy’, his striking looks are his main feature. His skills are as reliable as you would expect from an Ace. But his skills aren’t as good as his face.

Don’t get me wrong. I mean his face is unbelievably handsome. Attaching a couple of photos for reference.

Nothing to argue about. Those who picked him can just lay back and focus on getting through the audience application Olympics. Congratulations. By the way, I picked a different member 😉

Liu Wei
He is a global audition success story, with AG increasing its investments in China.

He’s been in Qingdao and only recently moved to AG’s Korean practice rooms.

Currently, he’s said to be the best dancer in AG. Frankly, it’s unlikely that any individual trainee or trainee from other agencies could dance better than him, so consider him a guaranteed dance member.

There’s less information about him since he’s from another country. Please understand;; To compensate, I’m posting a dance practice video supposedly uploaded by Liu Wei’s close associate before his debut.

Ji Hwa Sung
Along with Son Jae Ha and another trainee who will be mentioned next, he’s one of AG’s longest-serving trainees. He’s had blonde hair since middle school. Dropped out early, so not much material, but attaching a few photos from his middle school days.

The user ㅇㅇ’s post continued with the following:

He’s a rap member, and though his producing skills are unknown, he’s said to write decent lyrics. He has a history of attending music camps with Son Jae Ha. His personality seems to match his looks, and he’s expected to attract all the unnies who like high school heartthrobs. If those with spending power latch onto him, he’s practically in;;

Honestly, I’m hoping he gets confirmed because he’s my pick, f*ck ^^

—-So from here on are the promising* members—-

(T/N: This word in Korean is gamangmem, which is used to refer to a member who has a lot of potential to make it into the final lineup.)

Jang Si Woo
This guy is the long-standing trainee in AG I mentioned while talking about Ji Hwa Sung. Not officially publicized but if you don’t know him, you’re probably not into the entertainment industry.

Yep. The youngest brother of a second-generation idol, Jang Si 1. I’ll put that legendary milk CF below.

A case of splendid growth, just like his brother. But why isn’t he considered a fixed member, and is just a promising member? It’s because of the age difference.

He’s 17, which puts him four years younger than top contender Son Jae Ha.

Sure, four years might not seem much, considering how young many debut these days, but remember how Do Jae Chan didn’t favor large age gaps in Lei Di Swan? It might be a challenge. Still, as the longest-serving trainee and pure AG blood, he’s seen as a promising member.

Logan Lee
As the name suggests, he’s not Korean. British, with a blue passport. There are rumors he’s Korean-born in the UK, but that’s just speculation from some writer’s head; don’t believe it;; By He’s definitely British.

He’s an individual trainee picked by MUDE. Although he debuted as an individual trainee, it’s speculated he’ll stay with AG even if he doesn’t make it in this survival show. He’s known to be able to compose, write, and produce.

Being a foreigner, there’s less info on him, but his production skills earn him a spot among the promising members.

Kim Joo An
A dropout from Queens’ debut lineup. The survival show went bust, but he’s active on SNS. Dig around, and you’ll find plenty of photos.

First off, he’s super cute. There’s a rumor that his dropout from the Queens debut lineup was due to his looks not fitting with the group’s image. Believe it or not, that’s up to you to decide. His singing and dancing are both average.

You know how a cute face with average skills can attract a solid core fanbase, right? That’s why he’s categorized as promising. Just a bit of narrative crafting once the show starts, and he could quickly climb the ranks. That’s my prediction;

Let’s pick a few more to talk about

Bang Yu Chan (Photo) – Another individual trainee picked by Music Days. Totally unknown before the survival show, and weirdly, no dirt on him even after some digging. Rumored to have been the top entrant of Hankuk University of Arts practical music department. Had a WeTube channel where he posted his singing, but it’s gone now. Sort of sexy-looking, so he’s expected to have his audience.

Seong Oh Hyeop (Photo) – Trainee from Arkship, remember the disaster that was Arkship’s attempt at a boy group……? He was the trainee who suffered the most from that.
He’s been training for a while and is a bit older, which makes him a bit of an odd case. Still, he’s pretty well-known, so I’m including him. Arkship was a major agency, after all.

An Jin Woo (Photo) – A pure AG trainee, but his training period has been relatively short.
Originally, he wasn’t aiming to be an idol but an actor. However, due to a shortage of numbers, he ended up joining the survival show. Handsome.

That wraps up my list of top favored and promising members.

Didn’t see the face you picked here?

Congratulations. You’ve picked an extra.
